Nirav Kadakia

Nirav Kadakia is Head of DevOps at Access | Information Management, with over 25 years in technology and 15+ years in leadership roles. As a pragmatic technologist, he is dedicated to transforming organizational capabilities through cloud-native and DevOps-centric approaches. He architects enterprise platforms enabling seamless software delivery while maintaining rigorous security standards, with expertise spanning cloud governance, security hardening, and cost optimization aligned to business objectives. Throughout his career, Nirav has built and led high-performing teams that shifted organizational mindsets toward DevOps and cloud-first practices. Prior to Access, he spent nearly 15 years at Vonage, advancing through roles including Senior Engineer, Technical Manager, Infrastructure Architect, Director of Call Processing, and Senior Director of Engineering. He is credited as an inventor on at least 6 US patents in VoIP and telecom technology, including systems for improving VoIP call quality and off-net message routing. Nirav holds an MS in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics and a BS in Computer Science, both from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and has earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate credential. He also writes a technology blog covering AWS architecture, Terraform, FinOps, and site reliability engineering. Beyond his professional work, Nirav is active in his community. In 2024, he ran for the Marlboro Board of Education as part of the Partners Improving Education slate alongside Brian Cohen and Jenna Corraro, motivated by a desire to bring data-driven, collaborative leadership to the district and support academic excellence for local students, including his own two daughters. He has also coached youth basketball for 5 years, winning two consecutive championships, reflecting the same teamwork and excellence that defines his technology leadership. He is a devoted Yankees and Giants fan who spends much of his free time with family.
