Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we need someone.. or something until we are forced to be without it. And it happens in so many relationships. I know of hundreds of situations where men took their wives or girlfriends for granted and failed to listen to her complaints.. they stopped putting in effort or they under appreciated them… And despite her objections and warnings these men failed to take corrective action and make the relationship better. Instead, they felt she was just complaining or nagging and they did nothing. And then, one day the woman decides that she’s had enough.. she’s tired of being unhappy and taken for granted.. and then, all of a sudden, she’s done.. she’s checked out. I can’t count the number of couples that I’ve worked with where this was the very problem.. Where after years and years of being ignored, a woman will have had enough, she checks out of the relationship and decides it time to split up. Oh, and then, the man magically wakes up. He finally wakes up and understands the gravity of his situation, and he’s devastated.. then he’s ready to go to counseling.. then he’s ready to do whatever it takes to save the relationship… but unfortunately, it’s too little, too late.. and That’s why it’s better to wake him up now and make him realize you’re value and importance in his life.. So, if you’re if you’re your feeling taken for granted or feel that he’s not really showing you the love and attention he once did, here are the steps to wake him up, make him worry about losing you and turn things around for your relationship. And Join our conversation on social media.Facebook https://www.facebook.com/aborrello2Instagram https://www.instagram.com/edatingdr/Twitter https://twitter.com/eDatingDrAre you interested in dating advice for women or advice on relationship problems? How to Help with Sexual Harassment - Help Your Girlfriend with Sexual Harassment or Assault

If you were sexually harassed today at work, would you tell your husband, boyfriend, or significant other?  If you’re boss made a sexually explicit comment about your body, would you share that with your partner?   And, if you did, what do you think his reaction would be?  By now, we’ve all heard about the #metoo campaign.  The internet and social medial exploded with millions of women acknowledging publicly that they, too, had experienced harassment or assault.  The #metoo movement is revolutionary in uncovering the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault in society today. For way too long, women defined their own sexual harassment as something unspoken, something private, something to be ashamed of acknowledging. For decades, women have encountered this type of behavior in every industry across the world.. from media to business to academia… and for whatever reasons, they felt like nothing could be done about it and nobody cared.  But the metoo campaign is different...  it takes something that women had long kept quiet about and transformed it into a movement.  And this is a great thing,  But still there’s a monumental amount of work to be done in confronting this climate of sexual harassment— and that change needs to start at home…..  in every home and within every relationship.  That’s why I ask. how many women would feel safe in telling their boyfriend, husband, or significant other about their boss’s inappropriate comments or inappropriate behavior?  What would his response be?  Would he trivialize or minimize your experience and suggest you’re over-reacting?  Would he insinuate that you are somehow to blame or imply that you did something that allowed it to happen? or, more likely, would your boyfriend or husband respond with protective anger and want to fix the problem by confronting the perpetrator or worse?  Would you be worried that your husband or boyfriend would get involved and do something that might jeapordize your work?  If someone I loved were sexually harassed, I know my first reaction… my gut reaction would be to want to protect her.. to confront the person and fix the problem.  And that my friends, is part of the problem…  It’s part of the reason that so many women haven’t felt like they could come forward.  How would the most important adult in their lives respond? So I encourage you to Have this conversation with your partner?  Ask him how he might respond if you were being sexually harassed at work?  Maybe his response will surprise you.  And for those of you who have a partner who has experienced sexual harassment at work... or at school, let’s  talk about the best way to be a supportive and also let’s talk about what you should never say or do.If your loved one comes to you to share their experience, your first responsibility is to listen to them without interrupting and reacting.  I know this isn’t easy to do, but trust me..  You need to listen like you’ve never listened before…  stay present and just listen for understanding of both what they tell you… and how they feel.  2.  Validate their experiences.  Validating means that when your partner tells you about their experience and shares their feelings, you stay with them in the moment, honoring their experience. 3.  Believe them  The most common reason people choose not to tell anyone about sexual harassment or abuse is the fear that the listener won’t believe them. People rarely lie or exaggerate about abuse; if someone tells you, it’s because she trusts you and needs someone to talk to.  Believe what your friend tells you. It may have been difficult for them to talk to you and trust you.4.  Respect their decisions without pushback.  This isn’t for you to fix.  Recognize the difficulty your partner may feel in bringing charges or coming forward,   Accusing someone ― especially a higher-up at work ― of sexual abuse is Learn more about your ad choices. If Your Man Lies to You, Watch This Video

In this video, you will learn the most common reasons why men lie to the women they love. So if you’ve been lied to by a man you care about and find it difficult to understand why he did it or why he continues to lie, then this is the video for you. Everyone knows that being dishonest and lying to your partner is a surefire way to ruin your relationship. So, why do people do it? Why do people tell lies and risk breaking your trust and the relationship.. Before I tell you the reasons why men lie to you, I need to explain that fundamentally, there are only two kinds of lies… self-serving lies and kind hearted lies. And as you might imagine the most common kind of lie is a Self-serving lie. These are lies that people tell to either promote themselves (as in making themselves look better) or to protect themselves (as in avoiding blame or punishment or otherwise to save themselves from getting hurt). For example, a man might lie about or exaggerate his accomplishments or what he has in order to make himself look better. Or, a man might lie to deny that he did something bad or embarrassing. Whatever the case, the lie is self-serving, right?Far less common are Kind-hearted lies or lies that are told with the intent of making another person look better or feel better, or to spare them from embarrassment. For example, a person might lie and tell you they really liked a meal you made them, even though they really didn’t. The lie was told to spare you from having your feelings hurt. Well first, it’s important to recognize that The act of lying, especially if the person gets away with it, has a built-in mechanism for repetition. Often the second lie follows soon, because it may be necessary as some cover-up for the first lie. Plus, the ease with which a lie can be applied as a problem-solving tool is too seductive to resist. Once its usefulness has been experienced, the temptation of repeated application as needed is too powerful. And secondly, when lying is Well practiced and skillfully applied, it takes on the semblance of a sport. Each successfully applied lie will reinforce the act of lying and its continuation. So it’s a dangerous road to go down and may be a hard habit to break.I’m Dr Antonio Borrello, and I’m a psychologist and relationship coach. Why Guys Pull Away - 4 Reasons Men Pull Away - Dating Advice - Why Men Disappear

Why guys pull away? Why Men Pull away and lose interest? A guy is super interested in you… texting you all the time.. blowing up your phone… wants to see you…  at first you’re hesitant..  but after a little bit, he catches your attention and now you’re liking him…   and then boom…  you feel a sudden change in him.. and you know he’s pulling away.. What happened? Why did this man lose interest? In this video, I’m explain the top 4 reasons why guys lose interest, why guys pull away, and why guys disappear.  Please subscribe here https://www.youtube.com/antonioborrelloEvery new relationship is ignited by sparks of interest, allure, and a desire to be near one another.  This attraction can be physical, sexual, emotional, or a combination of all of them and results in what many people call “chemistry”. When we feel this chemistry with another person, we know it, and the feeling is unmistakable.  But what happens next depends on circumstances, availability, and most of all, how the two choose to interact with one another. We have all had the experience of being very excited about someone who likes us,  we meet a person… feel the chemistry.. maybe go on a date or begin texting, talking.. getting to know one another... and then BOOM!!! Something happens. There's a sudden and obvious change in their responsiveness to you...In the worst case, that person just ghosts you... no longer responds or communicates and offers no explanation.  Yes.. they leave you hanging and questioning your every communication...was it something I said?  Did they learn something about me that they don't like?  Why is the person you want, no longer interested in you?  Here are the top four reasons.  1.      You think you’re more compatible than you really are.  2.      He thinks you have no life..3.      You’re constantly attracted to people who are unavailable or otherwise bad for you.  4  It’s a triggered emotional response… Remember, anyone who is dating will have these experiences and it won’t feel good. What’s important is that you quickly recognize when your feelings are no longer being reciprocated —and once you’re aware, adjust your behaviors and feelings accordingly. Don’t waste your time worrying about the person who isn’t showing as much interest as you are. Move forward and meet someone as eager about a relationship as you are. Don’t settle for anything less. I know I certainly wont… You deserve a person who’s just as excited about you and knows how to show it, right?  I know you all have “change of heart stories” or situations where you were left wondering why he lost interest, why he pulled away, or why he disappeared. If you’d like my help trying to understand something, or why a guy pulled away or lost interest, leave a comment below and I’ll share my thoughts. Signs You're Being Used By a Man

Are you worried that the man you’re dating might be using you until someone else comes along?  Do you find yourself questioning, analyzing and overthinking things? The fact is, it’s not always easy to tell if you’re being used because when you’re emotionally involved, It’s difficult to be objective and see what’s really happening. That’s why in this video, i’m going to share the most common signs that a man is using you so you can be absolutely sure.. and i’m going to tell you exactly how to handle each one. Have you heard the saying…love is blind… or that someone is blinded by love…  It’s a real thing and it refers to how falling in love affects your judgment. And simply put, the intense feelings of falling in love affect your brain in the same way as drugs and powerful pain relievers do.. And when you’re high on love, it’s difficult to see your partner’s flaws or to accept the fact that this person might be using you or playing you. And even though the signs are obvious to others, you just might need them to be pointed out.I’m Dr Antonio Borrello, and I’m a psychologist and relationship coach. How to Relationship When You Don't Know if He Likes You - Dating Advice

Dating someone you like, but not knowing how they feel About you makes starting a new relationship much more stressful. That’s because when we feel insecure, we hyper focus on what our partner is feeling and worry that they might not feel the same way. And this isn’t a fun place to be. It can also make it more likely that you’ll begin a relationship with a person who is wrong for… and take a very long time to figure that out. So, In this video, I’m talk about “how to relationship” when you don't know if he really likes. And, I’ll tell you the one switch you must make to ensure your relationship is the happy and healthy relationship you deserve.Hi Everyone, I’m Dr. Antonio Borrello welcome to another video. Email AntonioBorrello@icloud.comThe third type of beginning is the problematic one.. this situation happens when you begin dating a person who you initially believe would be a great catch.. perhaps you’ve known something about this person and he’s a highly respected, or he’s super attractive and successful.. maybe you even question if he is in your league? So you begin the communication and the talking period feeling skeptical if this person would even be interested in you… and when he shows signs of interest, you’re not only excited.. you’re a bit surprised and hopeful…. Can you relate? Have you been there? Ok, so he asks you out on this date for the upcoming weekend. you get really excited about it.. you think about and plan what you’ll wear, how you’ll do your hair and make up… you think about and anticipate how the date will go… ya know.. daydream… Then you go on the date… things go very well.. communication is solid… you feel like he’s checking you out and he’s interested.. hes asking you great questions… and you both have a lot of fun. But the date ends without him asking you to confirm what’s next.. What’s the difference between the first scenario and the third scenario? How is your focus different.. in the first scenario, you’re sure of how he feels about you.. he’s making it crystal clear… you feel like it’s up to you to decide if you’re liking him and want to proceed. However, in third scenario… how do you feel? Kinda insecure.. wondering and hoping if he’s going to call and make plans… perhaps you are analyzing and rethinking so many of the interactions you shared… the things you said. It’s a very different position from the first… In the first, you were evaluating him.. considering your compatibility and whether or not you want this person.. but the last scenario is quite different for so many people.. the third scenario is focused on whether or not he will like you.. and that is an uncomfortable and insecure position to be in. And when you are worried about whether or not he want’s you, you’re less likely to focus on something even more important… DO YOU LIKE HIM? ARE YOU Compatible? Could this person or would this person ever be your best friend?Starting a relationship from this position makes it more likely that insecurity will motivate the way you interact with this new person. When we feel like we might not be good enough, we are much more likely to be “on our best behavior Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Make Him Want You Like Crazy With 5 Texting Secrets

In this video, you will learn 5 powerful texting secrets that will make a man want you like crazy. So, if you’re dating a guy and you want to keep him thinking about you, smiling, and falling in love with you, then you’ve got to watch this video.I’m Dr Antonio Borrello, and I’m a psychologist and relationship coach. This channel is all about helping you build great relationships so you can grow happy with the people you love. So, if you’re interested in dating advice and relationship advice that is focused on making your love life the best part of your life, start now by subscribing here. https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=antonioborrelloIf you are dating in today’s world, you know that texting is the first and most common tool used for people to get to know one another. And that’s because it works. Texting is direct and efficient, and it doesn’t require the awkward chit chat that is typical of phone calls between strangers. So, When texting is used properly, it can be a great way to flirt and create attraction between you and your man. And, because it has become the expected way of communicating for dating, It’s super important that you learn how to be good at it. Then, you can use your texting skills to make your man crave your attention and yearn to see you. Oh, andI’m also going to share a warning about how texting can Lead to the end of your dating life. So make sure you stay tuned to get that last one.. it’s most important. Confident texting is one of the most useful texting techniques you’ll ever learn. And that’s because when you are sending these types of texts, you are conveying that you like yourself, you like him, and you want to further the conversation… as in getting to know him better. So, how do you show your confidence through texting? Well, in three ways.. First, the content and style of your texts are going to convey that you are confident and happy, and second, you are going to show your confidence by sometimes being the one to reach out and text him for the first time. And lastly, you are going to show your confidence by knowing when to end the conversation and not over text. Vary the Timing of Your Responses to Text MessagesVarying the timing of your responses is based on the concept of a variable interval reinforcement schedule. In psychology, a variable interval reinforcement schedule is a powerful tool used to shape behavior and learning. behavioral psychologists know that changing the rate or time interval of giving a reinforcement (like responding to a text message) has powerful effects on behavior. In plain English.. once you have established that he’s interested and you’ve also shown him that you are interested, you are going to vary the amount of time it takes you to respond to his text messages. Simply put, when he texts you, sometimes you will respond within seconds, sometimes within minutes, sometimes within hours, and sometimes you might even forget to respond. And when you do that, he is going to keep checking his phone to see if you responded.. and that means that he’s Also going to be thinking of you.. and when you do respond... he’s going to be excited to read it and he’s going to get a hit of dopamine as part of that reward.. and that just reinforces his behavior and motivation for you even more. 3 Texts That Compliment HimCompliments make anyone feel good… but men probably don’t get compliments too often. So when you say something nice to a guy you like, he’ll definitely remember it and feel more appreciated too. But it’s also important that you compliment him without any ulterior motives or any sort of secret agenda. In other words, you are not complimenting him in a way where you are also fishing for a compliment or measuring his feelings.. instead, give genuine compliments. And Join our conversation on Learn more about your ad choices. How to Relationship When You're Dating a Jealous Person - Dating Advice and Relationship Advice

How to Relationship when you are dating a person with jealousy issues. Experiencing a little bit of jealousy within A romantic relationship is not always a bad thing. After all, when a rival expresses interest in our partner, experiencing some jealousy can be a healthy sign of love and a reminder of the value of the relationship. But dealing with a partner who is pathologically jealous can be a nightmare… its a whole different story. In this video, I’m going to explain the difference between normal jealousy and pathological jealousy and share how to relationship with a jealous partner.First… let’s make an important distinction…. JEALOUS FEELINGS ARE NOT EQUAL TO JEALOUS BEHAVIORS, the first is cause by some insecurity, fear, or anxiety over the possibility of losing someone… but jealous behaviors… those are caused by a need to control and posses your partner. There’s a big difference here. Think about it... jealousy is the rawest of emotions.... and it's not always a bad thing. If you see a person making moves on your partner, expressing interest, or trying to date your partner, experiencing some jealousy and talking to your partner about it is a healthy and appropriate response. But in the absence of any real threat, a partner expressing jealousy, anger, and disgust may be motivated by possessiveness and a need to control. too often, we don’t realize how jealous and possessive a person is until we are in way too deep. That’s because recognizing jealous behaviors early in a relationship can be difficult to do. So, here are five of the earliest warning signs you’re your partner’s jealousy is pathological and might only get worse. Observing any of these signs once doesn’t mean you cut your ties and run away… and Like most other difficult emotional experiences, jealousy, if treated correctly, can be a trigger for growth. And that begins with an honest conversation with your partner discussing how jealous behavior is hurting your relationship. If your partner is able to admit his jealous behavior and accept responsibility, you’re probably dealing with an insecurity issue. In that case, working together on the issue can become the first step in increased self-awareness and greater understanding both of your mate and of the relationship. But if you’re seeing multiple warning signs or a progressive pattern develop, you should be concerned. Pathologically jealous individuals construct decisive evidence of disloyalty from irrelevant incidents, they refuse to change their views even when confronted with contradicting information, and are inclined to accuse their partner of unfaithfulness with many other individuals. Under this form of jealousy, one of the partners considers that he or she has an exclusive ownership over another individual; and that this ownership is a necessity for preserving the relationship. Everyone experiences jealousy to a certain degree in a relationship. Fearing losing your partner or feeling threatened around other attractive people can be a sign that you care about your relationship. On the other hand, it can become a dangerous problem when jealousy becomes excessive, unwarranted and intrusive to the other person. Pathological jealousy can be quite destructive in a relationship, and, in extreme cases even dangerous in terms of assault behavior, suicide or homicide. So,Be wise, trust your instincts, and protect yourself. If something doesn’t sound or feel right, do what’s best for you and keep yourself safe. That brings me to my next point… If you’ve had experiences with a jealous partner and you’d like to share your example, please feel free to leave a comment. Sharing your story might be incredibly helpful to someone who’s dealing with a similar situation.I'm Dr. Antonio Borrello, a psychologist and dating and relationship expert and author of Dating 3.0: Finding Love in the Age of So Learn more about your ad choices.
