Local Theatres is a podcast series from Researching Local Theatres, an AHRC-funded research project exploring what local theatre is, does, and means across the UK. In each episode we sit down with people we've encountered through the project: leaders, artists, practitioners and advocates, all working in local theatre but in very different capacities and contexts. What does local theatre mean to them? And why does it matter?
