The Encounter Map Project gathers true stories of sacred experiences where people encounter God in nature. Rooted in Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park, the project shares micro-stories that take listeners outside, on a journey to explore how we see ourselves, each other, and our relationship to the land. A soulful, sonic ritual released monthly, this experimental podcast brings you down to earth to hear ambient music interwoven with meaningful memories. An exercise in deep listening and a soft place for the spiritual to live without judgment, this platform is one thread of a much larger Faith in Detroit project that opens a pathway for sharing faith-based stories and building nourishing relationships. Join us. Tune in to hear reflections that make us re-member we are not alone in our deepest yearnings and strangest experiences.
