Jim Drown’s Wild Stories of Supernatural Survival, Encounters & Miracles

Full video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2xdxqwzJSQ Jim Drown survived a suicide attempt and says he saw visions of his future before waking two days later. The teenager who couldn’t imagine a future would go on to help take the gospel across Peru. Recorded in Lima, Peru, Episode 20 of Encounterable brings Ben and Jodie Hughes together with Jim to hear the story behind nearly 25 years of evangelism. Jim recalls counting about 480 nights of crusades. In Peru alone, he estimates that he and Kathy have ministered in around 100 cities, with teams now multiplying the work. From praying on street corners to projecting the Jesus film on a mountainside and organising mass gospel gatherings, Jim shares what it looks like to say yes to God before you have everything figured out. Returning to Peru also meant returning to the place of his deepest heartbreak. Jim opens up about losing his daughter, experiencing spiritual abuse, and years of grief and bitterness. At 48, he describes a separate encounter in which he saw himself through Jesus’ eyes. It changed how he saw himself and gave him a desire to return to the country he’d sworn he would never visit again. In this conversation: • The visions of his future Jim says he experienced during those two days • Finding Jesus at a tent meeting and beginning a radically different life • Angelic encounters, glory clouds, and his translator’s account of walking into fire without being burned • The machete attack that ended with his attackers kneeling to receive Jesus • Worship, the Holy Spirit’s presence, and healing testimonies from the nations • Jim’s part in the encounter that helped launch Pour It Out Ministries • How a willingness to go grew into decades of evangelism across Peru and beyond If you’ve wondered whether God could use your life, stay for the closing prayers for salvation and impartation. Jim prays for God’s love and power to flow through others and for them to become His hands, feet, and voice. Tony Merkel Opens Up | The Man Behind The Confessionals

Full video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3DYjK40C4g Tony Merkel, host of The Confessionals, is usually the one asking the questions. This time, we turn the tables and hear his own story. From trying to walk away from his marriage to an encounter with Jesus at a funeral, Tony opens up about what shaped the man behind the microphone. He recounts the visit he describes as a Satanist’s trap, the spiritual oppression he says followed him for nine years, and his experience of deliverance. As he retells that encounter, Tony makes a connection in real time and says, “That’s not in the book.” We also talk about the moments that drew him back to Jesus, how The Confessionals began, and what happens when the search for supernatural answers becomes more important than knowing God. IN THIS CONVERSATION • Tony’s childhood encounters with God and the importance of discipleship • Marriage, forgiveness and a life-changing encounter with Jesus • Tony’s account of spiritual warfare and deliverance • Staying grounded in Christ while exploring the supernatural • Answering the call to preach after years of running from it CHAPTERS 00:00 Coming Up 00:48 Welcome, Tony Merkel 03:06 A Marriage at Breaking Point 06:00 Childhood Faith and Raising Children Who Know Jesus 16:12 The Funeral Encounter That Changed Tony’s Life 25:44 Putting Faith Into Action 33:04 Finally Answering the Call to Preach 40:04 How The Confessionals Began 44:03 Tony’s Account of the Satanist Encounter 1:03:28 Prayer, Deliverance and Nine Years of Oppression 1:09:51 Chasing Knowledge and Losing Sight of Jesus 1:22:11 Staying Grounded in Christ 1:29:49 Do We Believe What We Pray? 1:39:15 Jesus, the Storm and Legion 1:51:36 The Church’s Mission in This Generation 1:55:51 Tony’s Book and the Journey Behind It 1:59:12 Tony’s Prayer for You 2:01:03 Say Yes to Jesus CONNECT WITH BEN & JODIE HUGHES & POUR IT OUT MINISTRIES All the links: https://www.pouritout.org/links Website: https://www.pouritout.org/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pouritout (Ben) https://www.facebook.com/ejodie (Jodie) https://www.facebook.com/pouritoutministries (Pour It Out) Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ibenhughes/ https://www.instagram.com/jodiehughes/ https://www.instagram.com/pouritoutministries/ https://www.instagram.com/pouritoutchurch/ X / Twitter: https://www.x.com/ibenhughes/ Pour It Out YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/pouritoutministries CONNECT WITH TONY MERKEL & THE CONFESSIONALS Website: https://www.tonymerkel.com/ The Confessionals: https://www.youtube.com/@TheConfessionalsPodcast Tony’s ministry channel: https://www.youtube.com/@tony.merkel Book: https://a.co/d/0bJS3SaV WATCH NEXT 2 Hours at the Seer’s House | Prophet James Goll https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4oLFVrEr_8 SAY YES TO JESUS If you are ready to surrender your life to Jesus or come back to Him: https://pouritout.org/jesus SUBSCRIBE TO ENCOUNTERABLE @Encounterable https://www.youtube.com/@Encounterable SOW INTO REVIVAL & SOULS Partner with Pour It Out Ministries as we preach the Gospel, travel to the nations, equip believers, hold revival and evangelistic gatherings and produce content like Encounterable: https://pouritout.org/giving FREE 100 DECREES FOR SOUL WINNERS https://pouritout.org/SOULS/ #TonyMerkel #TheConfessionals #Encounterable
