Tired of Being Told "You're Fine?" Welcome to Her Balanced Life

If you've ever walked out of an appointment with a piece of paper that says everything is normal, then sat in your car wondering why you still feel exhausted, you’ve come to the right place!  Welcome to Her Balanced Life, a women's hormone health podcast hosted by Eni Kadar, a doctor of physical therapy and certified functional nutritionist. In this intro episode to the podcast, Eni shares how a concussion in her twenties shifted her gut and hormones while every test came back normal, and why she now helps ambitious women understand what their bodies are trying to tell them. In this episode, you'll hear: Why "everything is normal" on paper didn't match how Eni felt in her bodyWhy your symptoms are data, not a discipline problemWhat the show will covers each week: hormones, gut health, fat loss, stress, and mindsetWhat balance means here: your version of it, at this stage of your lifeIf you're the woman who's tired of being told she's fine when she feels anything but fine, let this be your reminder that you are not imagining things, you are not broken, and you are not too much for wanting answers. You're simply paying attention, and that is the very first step.  Each week you'll get solo deep dives, conversations with guests Eni trusts, and real client stories, without the fear mongering, detoxes, or one-size-fits-all rules. EP 2 - Waking Up at 3AM? What Your Cortisol Is Telling You

Waking up at 3 a.m., eyes wide open, doing the math on how many hours of sleep you have left? There are a few main reasons this happens, and they are not the same underlying problem. Eni Kadar gets into all things cortisol, the "queen hormone," and explains why being wired but tired at night, waking between 2 and 4 a.m., and waking up groggy no matter how long you slept can all be linked to cortisol, but come from different imbalances. That's why the supplement that works for someone else can do absolutely nothing for you. In this episode, you'll hear: What cortisol does: it's your stress hormone and your internal clock, and it follows a natural daily curveThree common sleep patterns and what may be behind each oneHow a blood sugar dip overnight can trigger the 2 to 4 a.m. wake-upA day of cortisol balance: gentle wake-ups, morning light, eating within 90 minutes of waking, caffeine timing, and winding down without devicesWhy supplements can fill in gaps but can't replace habits, nutrition, and lifestyleCortisol imbalances don't happen in a week, so they won't undo in a week. Be patient with your body and start small: you don't need to overhaul your life, but you do need to start somewhere. If you pick one thing, Eni recommends the morning habit of outdoor light and protein within 90 minutes of waking. EP 1 - Bloodwork Normal But Still Exhausted & Gaining Weight? What Your Labs May Be Missing

Your bloodwork came back normal, but you're still exhausted, crashing by 2 or 3 p.m., gaining weight without changing anything, and cold all the time. In the first episode of Her Balanced Life, Eni Kadar explains why "normal" on a lab report doesn't mean optimal, and definitely doesn't mean normal for you. She walks through how standard reference ranges are created, what standard lab work is and isn't designed to catch, and what to do next when you've been told everything's fine but you don't feel like yourself. In this episode, you'll hear: Why lab reference ranges are a statistical average of well and unwell people, and why "in range" doesn't equal thrivingWhat standard lab work is designed to do and what it missesWhy one lab result tells you virtually nothing without the context of your symptoms, patterns, and health historyHow to advocate for yourself at your next appointment: getting your actual results, asking about specific markers like a full thyroid panel, and seeking another opinionThe one thing to start this week: tracking your symptoms for two weeksThis episode isn't about bashing the medical industry. It's about getting answers, feeling validated, and having a clear path forward to feeling like yourself again. Normal means you're not sick, which is great, but it doesn't mean you're well, and it doesn't mean you're done asking questions. Your symptoms are data, and you are not imagining it.  If you want personalized support, you can apply to work with Eni through the link below or click here!
