Justice for the Blondes in Romantasy

Episode 4: Justice for the Blondes 💛⚔️Romantasy, questionable logistics, and why the blond guy is never endgame. This week on Philynnit: A Book Besties Podcast, we're diving into romantasy. Or fantasy. Or fantasy-adjacent. We briefly attempt to define the genre before deciding that if they hooked up, we're talking about it. 😂 From ACOTAR and Throne of Glass to Fourth Wing and Crescent City, we're discussing our favorite fantasy worlds, disappointing sequels, and the fictional men living rent-free in our heads. Why is the blond guy never endgame? How do these wings work? Does anyone care about hygiene in Prythian? And should our favorite fictional men EVER be adapted for television? Plus, recent reads, questionable bookish decisions, and plenty of tangents! ⚠️ SPOILERS: This episode is spoiler-light but includes some character, relationship, and plot discussions. Proceed accordingly! 📚 BOOKS MENTIONED Affiliate disclosure: Some links are affiliate links. We may earn a small commission from purchases at no extra cost to you. The Mafia Men Have Entered the Chat

Episode 3: The Mafia Men Have Entered the Chat 🔪📚Mafia men, morally gray love interests, questionable decisions, and absolutely ZERO expertise in organized crime. 😂 This week on Philynnit: A Book Besties Podcast, Phi gives Lynn (and all of you!) a crash course in mafia romance! We're talking Italian mafia, Russian Bratva, Irish mob, and fictional men who have absolutely no business being this appealing. Plus, how a truly terrible cinnamon iced coffee launched our 12-year friendship, why "save it for the podcast" is our newest rule, tiny hands making their inevitable return, our ongoing Goodreads data saga, and Teddy Hamilton audiobook homework. Besties, Bat Wings, and Bad Books

WE DID IT!!! Episode 1 of Philynnit: A Book Besties Podcast is LIVE!!! We’re Phi & Lynn: two best friends, seven kids between us, an unreasonable number of books, and WAY too much to talk about. So naturally… we started a podcast. 😂 In Episode 1: 📚 How we read so much while working full-time + raising seven kids ✋ Why life is too short to finish bad books. FREE YOURSELF! 🐉 Forgetting everyone between fantasy releases except Xaden 🪽 And, somehow, the logistics of angel wings “How does he shower?” “Are they wet? How do they dry?” “Do you use soap on the wings?” If you’ve ever wondered who is washing a fictional man’s wings… welcome. These are your people.
