    Welcome to the first episode of Blue Jean Country Queen.  I'm starting with one of the wildest stories I've collected during my years in the country music business: how I introduced Billy Joe Shaver to the Texas bar where he would later shoot a man- and how I almost ended up as a character witness at his trial.  My name was read aloud in court, Willie Nelson and Robert Duvall were there, and yes, I have the post-trial photo to prove it.
