There Is No Blueprint for Entrepreneurship | The Work Before Us Ep. 1

What does it actually take to start a business? In the first episode of **The Work Before Us**, Justin Wade and Adam Green sit down to talk about entrepreneurship, failure, success, faith, local business, and one of the biggest lessons they've learned along the way: **sometimes you just have to start.** There isn't one perfect formula for building a successful business. Every entrepreneur's path looks different—and sometimes the failures, wrong turns, and ideas that don't work are exactly what prepare you for the opportunity that does. In this episode, Justin and Adam share their own entrepreneurial journeys, including businesses that never got off the ground, losing money on failed ideas, cryptocurrency and NFTs, accounting and real estate, digital products, marketing, tote rentals, and the unexpected opportunities that came from simply continuing to move forward. They also discuss: • Why there's no universal blueprint for entrepreneurship • How to define success beyond revenue • Why supporting local businesses strengthens communities • The difference between learning and actually taking action • Why failure can become part of your future success • Knowing when advice doesn't apply to your stage of business • The growing importance of face-to-face relationships in an AI-driven world • Work-life balance vs. work-life integration • Faith, trusting God, and entrepreneurship • Why sometimes you have to be a little “dumb on purpose” and just get moving **The Work Before Us** is about the real stories behind businesses—the successes, failures, lessons, decisions, and people behind them. We'll be sitting down with entrepreneurs and business owners at every stage, from people just getting started to those who have built successful companies, to discover what actually worked, what didn't, and what they learned along the way. If you're building a business, thinking about starting one, or simply love hearing how entrepreneurs got where they are, subscribe and join us for the work ahead. **Build. Lead. Believe.** 👍 Like the episode 💬 Tell us in the comments: What's something you've been thinking about starting but haven't taken action on yet? 🔔 Subscribe for future conversations with entrepreneurs and business owners.
