    session 001 — drums

What can a drum kit teach us about the way we think, learn, and connect? In session 001, we sit down with Carl Størmer — jazz drummer, speaker, and founder of Jazzcode — for a wide-ranging conversation about rhythm, identity, a 50-year-old drum kit, and the unexpected patterns that connect music to life. Along the way, Jazzcode takes the stage. And Carl shows us that rhythm isn't just something we hear. It's something we do. An exploration of instruments, music, and the people and stories that bring them to life. Featuring: Carl Størmer Live music: Jazzcode Carl Størmer — drums Bendik Hofseth — saxophone Helge Lien — piano Thomas Fonnesbæk — bass Jazzcode: https://www.jazzcode.com/ Conversation and production: project harmonique This episode features live musical performances by Jazzcode, recorded alongside our conversation with Carl Størmer.
