MICHAEL OLUOKUN WANTS TO EXPAND YOUR THOUGHTS 💭

In this mind-bending, reality-shifting conversation with Michael Oluokun (any pronouns), two longtime friends meander around topics ranging from if Elsa would hang out with us to if I would be OK with a snail following me for the rest of my life — yes. We discuss me accurately predicting the death of Betty White, evergreen and pre-SNL bad faith criticism of Shane Gillis’s whole deal, and which Cartoon Network programs freak me out to this day. This week, Michael brings me John Mulaney’s The Top Part, Kevin Hart’s Seriously Funny, and Adventure Time episodes “The Enchiridion!” and “Memories of Boom Boom Mountain.” Michael also divulges BTS info on their recent Bushwick Starr show “Have You Ever Thought About?” and gives an exclusive sneak peak at an in-development musical for which Michael is actually considering me for the lead! 😮 Let me be your star! ⭐️ The Terrence picture on the poster was taken by Handsome (@handsome.mf, @snapppshots), and our theme music is from the amazing rockstars in Um, Jennifer? EDSON MONTENEGRO IS A SCREAM QUEEN 🎃

In a riveting but horrifying edition of the TCOC podcast I engage Edson Montenegro (they/them) in conversation about Scream (1996), White Chicks (2004), and Final Destination 3 (2006). An hour of podcast perfect for the Halloween freak, this episode will make you check under your bed and lock all of the doors. And remember… don’t answer the phone. Unless you want to DIE!!! 🔪 No but seriously. This episode with Edson is great. We discuss Emma Roberts having a narc face, Edson’s secret past as a fan fiction artist, Raven Symoné’s cover of Superstition, a TV show where Aaron Tveit and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have sex while she eats salami to get evil bugs out of her brain, and so much more. Winnie Dugan guest stars. What more are you waiting for. TUNE IN BITCHES! CHARLIE GIRARD IS THE CHEF 🍳

My guest on the first episode of Trans Comedians on Comedy is Charlie Girard (he/him). And what a lovely conversation it is. For this episode Charlie brought me Joel Kim Booster’s 2019 Good One episode where he talks about his James Corden set, Judy Carter’s 4 Words, and Sally Halloway’s The Serious Guide to Joke Writing — particularly her lessons on joke webs. We also gab about how being a stand up comedy teacher informs Charlie’s approach to working at a summer camp for trans youth each year, his set at the T4T Bell House show, and what it’s like to get started.
