Big Brother (2026 Finale): The hierarchy

With the Big Brother finale landing this week, we are taking a detour to talk about the ultimate six-week cabin fever experiment. From the classic "Who is she?!" days to Tiffany Pollard and this year's open war over the house hierarchy, here is why Big Brother works so well in the background while making dinner, meal prepping, or cleaning. Plus how imo Omar blew his lead in the final fortnight and why Catrin gets the nod for the win.

Why I Downgraded Delta Force to a 3/5

Two years in, is Delta Force still the ultimate free-to-play extraction shooter? I wanted to give Hazard Operations a perfect 5/5, but a brutal weekend of sweaty lobbies, lost gear, and a miserable end game grind forced a downgrade. It’s brilliant in 30 minute bursts with a mate, but if you play it non-stop, you will burn out.

Forget The Walking Dead, You Need to Watch Black Summer

Sick of watching survivors have emotional arguments in a farmyard? Black Summer on Netflix is the absolute cure for zombie fatigue. This show drops you straight into the unfiltered panic of the outbreak with fast, relentless infected and absolutely no safe zones. It’s pure, adrenaline pumping horror built on breathless, 10 minute nightmares of people just trying to survive.

The Zombie Audiobook That Ruined My Night Shift | Mountain Man Prequel (R.C. Bray)

Looking for the most relatable zombie series? Keith C. Blackmore’s Mountain Man prequel is the perfect 8-hour entry point to a massive series. We follow Gus, a regular guy who picks up an extra night shift at a megastore just as the apocalypse kicks off. There are no frustrating horror movie mistakes here, just gritty, claustrophobic tension brought to life by an absolute Hall of Fame performance from narrator R.C. Bray. Spend the credit.

The 2005 Show That Is Ruining My Sleep Schedule | Supernatural

I know looking at 15 seasons on Prime is enough to put anyone off, and I'll be honest, the first couple of episodes almost made me quit. But if you stick with it past the early monster-of-the-week stuff, it opens up into a massive, addictive storyline that will genuinely ruin your sleep. It easily earns a 4 out of 5. Don't be an idjit, give it a go.

Do NOT Read Bobiverse Book 5... Listen To the Audiobook Instead (Not Till We Are Lost)

Dennis E. Taylor's Not Till We Are Lost ditches the problem-solving and hits the gas on action. Ray Porter delivers an absolute masterclass in narration, making it effortless to track dozens of characters over this 12-hour sci-fi epic. Just do yourself a favor: recap Book 4 before you hit play, and brace yourself for a brutal cliffhanger.

Resident Evil (2026) Is Better Than You Think — Honest Verdict

The internet was ready to write off Zach Cregger's new Resident Evil movie before it even came out, but it is a massive win for pure survival horror. Ditching the action-hero backflips, this film follows an everyday courier named Brian who is just trying to deliver a package to Raccoon City as everything goes to hell. It is claustrophobic, packed with blood and guts, and features a relentless stalker that keeps the tension at an absolute maximum.

Dragged to See the Verity Movie (2026)... Was It Actually Worth the Ticket?

This week, I was dragged to the cinema with high hopes to see the adaptation of Verity. While the first 45 minutes deliver a gripping, intense mystery with a shocking opening, the plot hits a massive brick wall in the second half. Let me know in the comments to settle the debate: are you Team Manuscript or Team Letter?
