Witches Are Real. Jesus Sets Them Free.

Witches are real, and so is the way out. Shawn Cheek and Arik Smith talk tarot, Ouija boards, spirit guides and psychics, share true stories from the streets of Waco and from Haiti, and walk through how Jesus breaks every chain. Plates up. Prayers up. Chains down. For fans of Blurry Creatures, Ninjas Are Butterflies, Haunted Cosmos and The Confessionals: Christian conversations about the supernatural, spiritual warfare and the unseen realm. Curiosity is the door: tarot cards, crystals, Ouija boards, a book on spells. Power, control and belonging keep people inside. We get into spirit guides that look like helpers but are lying spirits ("Satan masquerades as an angel of light"), and how psychics and mediums really work: every dark power writes a contract, and it always takes more than it gives. Arik has carried a cross through the streets of Waco for 18 years. He tells about the man who walked out of a ritual with blood running down his shirt, and about a pastor in Léogâne, Haiti, who used to be a head witch until Jesus stripped him of his power. Then the big one. At 21, Arik prayed with "Beth," a practicing witch who had a dream of Jesus coming back. It took seven trash bags to haul off her altars, daggers and her copy of the Necronomicon. We finish with how to get free: renounce it out loud, throw away or burn the stuff, find a deliverance ministry, link arms with people, fast and pray. We also cover justified vs. sanctified, a dramatic reading of Ephesians 6:12, and a closing prayer over you. KEY SCRIPTURES Ephesians 6:12 — "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood..." Colossians 1:13 — He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His Son. John 8:36 — "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Romans 5:5 — God has poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Jeremiah 29:11 — "For I know the plans I have for you..." Matthew 11:28 — "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." NEED HELP GETTING FREE? You don't have to fight this alone. Find a Bible-teaching church near you and ask straight out: "Do you have a deliverance ministry?" If they don't, keep calling until you find one that does. Or send them an email.
