Be careful what you’re good at.

Episode 6: in which we consider getting a job. Here’s the idea: I’m reading you my novel (in parts). This is a book at heart, but I wrote the thing as if telling it around a campfire. Stories are meant to be told, after all . . . so here goes. New episodes every Tuesday and Thursday through January 28. --- ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Gold Forgets the Mountain is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are either the product of my imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events, or locales is entirely coincidental. I’m reading it in the first person because that’s the voice the book is written in, not because it happened to me. Get full access to WHOLESOME PEOPLE at martinbrodsky.substack.com/subscribe
