My 20s Called. I Sent Them to Voicemail

Send us Fan Mail Remember when staying out until 2 AM was fun? When making last-minute plans sounded exciting? When we could survive on four hours of sleep, questionable decisions, and iced coffee? Yeah! What happened to those girls? 😂 Welcome back to Different Lives, Same Thoughts! This week, Nikki and Shayda are taking a hilarious trip down memory lane to talk about all the things we absolutely LOVED in our 20s but wouldn't voluntarily sign up for in our 30s. Somewhere between late-night adventures, spontaneous plans, and the thrill of being young and carefree, we became women who genuinely look forward to canceled plans, comfortable pajamas, and being home before 9 PM. But is it really about getting older? Or have our priorities, boundaries, and definitions of fun simply changed? From the things we thought we'd never outgrow to the little joys we never imagined appreciating, we're unpacking the reality of entering our 30s and realizing that maybe, just maybe, we're not the same people we used to be. And you know what? We're not entirely mad about it. Expect nostalgia, laughter, a little self-reflection, plenty of interruptions, and probably a few moments of “Wait, you used to do WHAT?!” Because growing older doesn't necessarily mean becoming boring. Sometimes it just means knowing exactly what you enjoy… and what you absolutely do not have the energy for anymore. Different lives. Same thoughts. Zero filters. 🎧 Grab your coffee, put on your comfiest clothes, and join us for another unfiltered conversation! 💌 We want to hear from you! What's something you absolutely loved in your 20s that you can't stand doing in your 30s? Is it clubbing? Staying out late? Crowded places? Or simply having plans? Tell us your stories! This week, we're diving headfirst into the unpredictable, occasionally hilarious, and sometimes downright exhausting world of modern dating. And who better to take us on this adventure than our very own Shayda? One of us is married with a kid. The other is single and navigating the dating scene. Two completely different lives, but somehow, we still have a LOT of thoughts. From dating apps and questionable first impressions to mixed signals, red flags, unrealistic expectations, and the eternal question of “Where are all the good ones?”  Nothing is off the table. Is dating supposed to be this complicated? Have we become too picky, or are we finally learning what we deserve? Your Phone is Full of People You Don't Text

Send us Fan Mail Episode 1: Your Phone Is Full of People You Don’t Text 📱Ever scroll through your contacts and realize how many people you haven’t spoken to in months… or even years? Yeah, us too. Welcome to the very first episode of Different Lives, Same Thoughts! 🎙️ In this episode, Nikki and Shayda dive into the messy, funny, and sometimes lonely reality of making and maintaining friendships as adults. Why was making friends so easy when we were younger? Why does planning a simple coffee date now require three business days and a calendar invite? And when did “We should catch up soon!” become something we say but rarely follow through on? From friendships that slowly fade to the awkwardness of putting yourself out there and finding your people in your 30s, we're talking about all of it. Because growing up doesn't just mean changing careers, relationships, or priorities. Sometimes it means realizing that the people who once knew everything about you are now just names in your phone. Different lives. Different experiences. But somehow, the same thoughts. Grab your coffee (or wine!), get comfortable, and join us for our very first conversation. 💬 Let's keep the conversation going!
