    Ep. 1 ITS (In Their Shoes): israelites and the red sea

    Let’s step into their shoes - the Israelites in the book of Exodus chapter 14 as they are cornered up against the Red Sea after being released (now chased) from Egypt. What were they possibly thinking?! Was God going to perform a crazy miracle or let them drown in the sea?? Sometimes the Bible can be hard to understand or just flat out boring if you have no context or if you don’t try and put yourself in the shoes of who’s being talked about. The Bible started coming alive more to us when Frank and I (Cait) started reading stories and trying to imagine how these people felt, what they were going through, and fitting in historical context. We’ve created a series within our podcast specifically for these conversations. Our hope is that your faith can be reignited if you’re feeling spiritually dry, you can gain more understanding if you’re a newer Christian, or if you’re not quite there yet we hope these stories help you see how great and awesome God is and how real the Bible actually is! ——————————————————— Are you clinically or self-diagnosed neurodivergent who’s trying to find your people? We might be those people if you too are fascinated with faith topics, are slightly obsessed with art, can switch from goofy to serious within seconds, and loves bantering about sometimes the most random things. Come hang out with us! We’re a neurodivergent married couple who like to take deep dives beyond surface level discussions..well, not everything is serious in our world either. Sometimes we’re humorous, sometimes serious, sometimes a little spicy and sassy but we always try to revolve around honesty, authenticity, and truth.
