None of this was the plan. Yet somehow, here we are. Hosted by Maria Zakhar, the best friend you tell everything to and the one who says what everyone else is thinking. Each week on Somehow Here, Maria sits down with friends, comedians, actors, and people with stories worth telling to unpack life's unexpected turns and how they ended up where they are today. From questionable decisions and hilarious detours to the moments that changed everything, nothing is off limits. Expect unfiltered conversations, plenty of laughs, maybe a few tears, and the comforting realization that nobody really has it all figured out. Because none of us planned to end up here, but somehow, we did.

So... How Did I Get Here?

Well, I guess we should start at the beginning. In the very first episode of Somehow Here, I’m taking it back to where it all started: growing up as one of eight kids in a small town in the Midwest, chasing dreams of singing, dancing, and acting, and eventually packing up my life for California. But getting here was anything but a straight line. Between the unexpected twists, the moments you genuinely couldn’t make up, and the times life knocks you down and you somehow have to get back up. I’ve collected a few stories along the way, and according to the people in my life, it’s time to start telling them. So consider this your introduction to me, how I got here, and what you can expect from this little corner of the internet. We’ll laugh, we’ll probably cry, and we’ll definitely get into some things. Because none of this was the plan, yet somehow, here we are.
