    Prayer from the Inside Out

What is salah, and why do Muslims pray five times a day? 🤍In this episode of *From the Inside Out*, I'm exploring the meaning behind salah, the role of wudu, the beauty of sujood, and the way prayer connects Muslims around the world. I'm also looking at connections between Islamic prayer and biblical examples of worship, including Jesus (peace be upon him) praying with his face to the ground and Daniel's devotion to prayer. As a Muslim revert, I'm learning as I go, asking questions, studying authentic sources, and sharing what I discover along the way. This isn't about having every answer—it's about growing in understanding, one step at a time.I hope this video encourages thoughtful conversations, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the role of prayer in our lives. Whether you're Muslim, Christian, exploring faith, or simply curious, you're welcome here. 🌙🎥 WATCH[https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...)Learn the physical benefits of salah:    • The AMAZING Physical Benefits of SALAH You...  📖 QURAN REFERENCES• Quran 2:43 — https://quran.com/2/43• Quran 2:45–46 — https://quran.com/2/45-46• Quran 2:125–127 — https://quran.com/2/125-127• Quran 3:42–43 — https://quran.com/3/42-43• Quran 4:103 — https://quran.com/4/103• Quran 5:6 — https://quran.com/5/6• Quran 13:28 — https://quran.com/13/28• Quran 17:78 — https://quran.com/17/78• Quran 19:30–36 — https://quran.com/19/30-36• Quran 20:14 — https://quran.com/20/14• Quran 28:56 — https://quran.com/28/56• Quran 29:45 — https://quran.com/29/45📚 HADITH REFERENCES• Sahih al-Bukhari 349 — The Night Journey and the prescription of prayer: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:349• Sahih al-Bukhari 528 — The five daily prayers: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:528• Sahih al-Bukhari 631 — “Pray as you have seen me praying”: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:631• Sahih al-Bukhari 812 — The seven points of prostration: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:812• Sahih Muslim 162 — The Night Journey and the prescription of prayer: https://sunnah.com/muslim:162• Sahih Muslim 244 — The virtue of wudu: https://sunnah.com/muslim:244• Sahih Muslim 245 — The virtue of wudu: https://sunnah.com/muslim:245• Sahih Muslim 482 — Prostration and supplication: https://sunnah.com/muslim:482✝️ BIBLICAL REFERENCES• Matthew 26:36–46 — Jesus prays in Gethsemane: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...• Mark 14:32–42 — Jesus prays in Gethsemane: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...• Luke 22:39–46 — Jesus prays: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...• Daniel 6:1–28 — Daniel and the lions' den: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...• Luke 1:26–56 — Mary: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...🔎 ADDITIONAL RESEARCH• Quran.com — translations and tafsir: https://quran.com/• Quranic Arabic Corpus — Arabic words and grammar: https://corpus.quran.com/A note on this video: I'm sharing my learning journey and reflections, not presenting myself as an Islamic scholar. Allah from the Inside Out - Who is Allah?

Who Is Allah? Is Allah the Same God Christians Worship? 🤍If you grew up Christian like I did, you may have heard that Muslims worship a different god. But what does the word Allah actually mean?In this video, we’re breaking down who Allah is, what Muslims believe about God, and how Islam and Christianity understand Him. We’ll explore what the Qur’an says, look at familiar passages from the Bible, and talk about both the similarities and the important theological differences between the two faiths. This isn’t about arguing, judging, or pretending Christianity and Islam are identical. It’s about asking questions, challenging assumptions, and being willing to learn something new.I’m coming to this conversation as someone who was raised Christian and later embraced Islam. My hope is to make these conversations a little more familiar and approachable for my Christian sisters (and brothers), because I come from where you are. 🤍Welcome to From the Inside Out — rebuilding my understanding of God from the inside out. 🌷💬 Let’s talk: Before learning about Islam, what did you think the word Allah meant?#FromTheInsideOut #WhoIsAllah #ChristianityAndIslam #IslamExplained #FaithAndUnderstanding #RevertStory

My Story from The Inside Out

This is a little messy but hang in there with me. I'm building confidence in speaking to a camera by myself. I was raised Christian, but my journey eventually led me to Islam. 🤍 In this first video, I’m sharing my conversion story, the questions that changed my understanding of God, and what led me to take my shahada. This isn’t about bashing my past or convincing anyone to believe what I believe. It’s about sharing what I learned, what changed, and the peace I found along the way.Welcome to From the Inside Out.
