Women and the meaning of Tu Be’Av (last year’s live Shiur)

A year ago, I gave my very first shiur, and today I’m finally sharing that recording with you. Listening back to it reminds me how much can change in just one year. This shiur represents the beginning of my journey of spreading the light of Torah publicly, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and realizing that growth starts by simply saying “yes” to Hashem. In this shiur, we explore the journey from Tisha Be’Av to Tu Be’Av, how Judaism teaches us to transform darkness into light, mourning into joy, and brokenness into hope. We discuss the hidden goodness within life’s challenges, the spiritual power of listening, the significance of the month of Av, and the unique role and strength of the Jewish woman in bringing light, connection, and holiness into the world. Looking back, I can see how much I’ve learned since this was recorded, but I’m incredibly grateful for where this journey began. I hope this episode reminds you that you don’t have to wait until you feel “ready” to start. Every step of growth begins somewhere. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I can’t wait to continue learning, growing, and sharing many more conversations together. May we all continue to grow in emunah and bitachon, find light even in the darkest moments, and merit to see the rebuilding of the Beit HaMikdash במהרה בימינו. Amen. If this episode speaks to you, I’d love if you shared it with someone who could use the reminder that every journey starts with one step.

Ep 2. The Inner Circle Series: Being connected in a Modern World- My Mother (Gila Bachar) IN HEBREW

Being Connected in a Modern World- THIS EPISODE IS IN HEBREW The Inner Circle Series is all about conversations with the people who have shaped and inspired my life. In this special episode, I am honored to feature my beautiful Imma, my mother. Growing up, my mother taught me so much. Even while living in a modern world and navigating life in her own way, the one thing that always remained constant was her Emunah, her love for Hashem, and her commitment to the values that mattered most. That lesson has stayed with me throughout my life. Together, we discuss what it means to stay connected to Hashem in the modern world, raise children with strong values, and continue growing spiritually at your own pace. This conversation is a reminder that our relationship with Hashem isn't about perfection, it's about connection, and awareness that He is always present.

Ep 1. The Inner Circle Series: A Journey from Teshuva to Community- My Father (Itzchak Bachar)

This is the first episode of The Inner Circle Series and today I sit down with someone who means everything to me, my Abba, my dad. He is my role model, my inspiration, and I admire him in every aspect. He is a Baal Teshuva who built his relationship with Hashem and his community from the ground up, all on his own. My father is the Vice- President of a Shul, an attorney, the best father, and also the son of The King. My dad shares what it really means to create a life of purpose, even when you didn’t grow up with everything already in place. From building a family rooted in Torah values, to becoming a leader in his Shul, to balancing growth, responsibility, and Emunah, this conversation is filled with wisdom, honest, and heart. We discuss belonging, identity, and how to build something meaningful in our life, even if we are struggling and trying to still figure it all out. For anyone who has ever felt lost, a sense of disconnection, or maybe unsure of where they fit in, this episode if for you!! and is a reminder that you don’t have to find your place, you are able to create it. At the end of the day we have to remind ourselves that our past does not define us, we are able to build our future a meaningful one no matter where and when we start. B”ZH, with Hashem’s help and with time we will all be able to build this home, this life, this family, community, and a life filled with Kedusha and connection!
