    Ep 2 Test

Pain at the bottom of your heel, especially with your first steps in the morning, may be a sign of plantar fasciitis.Plantar fasciitis develops when the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue connecting the heel to the front of the foot, becomes irritated or inflamed. Repeated strain may cause small tears, leading to heel pain that can make standing and walking uncomfortable. In this video, Dr Kwong Seh Meng from DR+ Medical & Paincare East Coast explains the common symptoms and risk factors of plantar fasciitis, simple stretching exercises, and treatment options that may be considered after a clinical assessment.People who spend long hours standing or walking, runners and athletes, those who are overweight, and individuals with flat feet or high arches may face a higher risk. Wearing high heels for prolonged periods may also place additional strain on the plantar fascia. Test

[TEST] Not all pain comes from the same source. Some pain may be related to structural problems in the joints or spine, while other pain may involve muscles, ligaments, nerve sensitivity or age-related muscle loss. In this video, Dr Bernard Lee, also known as Dr Pain, CEO and Senior Consultant Pain Specialist at Singapore Paincare, explains the difference between mechanical pain and functional pain. Mechanical pain may be associated with conditions such as knee arthritis, spinal stenosis, nerve compression and bone spurs. Functional pain may involve muscles, ligaments, nerve hypersensitivity or sarcopenia, which refers to age-related muscle loss. Because the underlying causes can differ, treatment should be based on an individual clinical assessment. Depending on the diagnosis, management may include medication, rehabilitation, minimally invasive procedures or specialised injections for selected patients. Dr Lee also explains why persistent pain should not simply be assumed to be a normal part of ageing. If pain is affecting your movement, sleep or daily activities, further assessment may help identify the possible source. 00:05 Mechanical pain vs functional pain 00:32 Treatment approaches for different types of pain 00:50 Pain doesn't have to be part of ageing Singapore Paincare Center 🖥️ https://sgpaincare.com/contact/ 📞 +65 8777 9500 Follow Singapore Paincare Instagram:   / sgpaincare   Facebook:   / sgpaincare   WANT MORE Learn more about Spinal Stenosis: https://sgpaincare.com/pain-condition...
