The Head of the Snake Speaks

Darrell Castle talks about the September 29, 2026 26-page letter written to the American people by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). The title of this Castle Report comes from the neocon description of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the head of the snake. Transcription / Notes THE HEAD OF THE SNAKE SPEAKS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 2nd day of October in the year of our Lord 2026. My beat once again is war, more or less because I will be talking about a 26-page letter written to the American people by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and delivered on September 29. The title of this Castle Report comes from the neocon description of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the head of the snake. People have wondered during this entire war if the US is fighting the Mullahs or the Iranian military and those who command it and this letter seems to answer that question. It also is an effort to take the Iranian case to the American people in order to influence the upcoming Mid-Terms. To me this letter is a sign of perceived weakness, division, and disorder. It appeals to logic in an effort to influence an already divided and anti-Israel mood in the American public. I took the time to read the entire 26 pages which is no small task because in reading it one gets the feeling that it is much longer than 26 pages. I don’t mean to imply that the letter is silly or not well written because it certainly is well written and it contains much truth. In an effort to indicate that we are all just people who should be getting along it starts by “Saluting the noble souls of God’s greatest prophets—Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, may His peace and blessings be upon them all.” The real point of the letter could be summed up in one sentence; “Americans can live peacefully with Iran if they separate themselves from the Israeli regime.” When I say the letter appeals to logic and fairness I am thinking as well of the recent Iranian address to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City. His remarks were given to the Assembly and the world with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu sitting there as well. He talked about the American demand that Iran surrender all its nuclear material and give up its desire to be a nuclear armed country and to permit international inspections to ensure compliance. He pointed out that Israel has nuclear weapons, atomic bombs, he called them, and everyone knows that. There are no international discussions of Israel’s nuclear program and no demands that they surrender their nuclear material. International inspections of Israel would never be allowed or even discussed. That statement is so obviously true that I don’t see how anyone can argue with it. Whether you think Iran contains a far more dangerous people than Israelis is another matter. He just presented it as a logical argument of a double standard. Well, let’s take a look at what the letter actually said about what is happening and what is possible. The IRGC in this letter directly addresses American citizens, students, academics and journalists, giving its view of the war, decades of US-Iran hostility and what it advises Americans to do next. In other words, the writer is addressing the people in America he believes to be most likely moved to his view by his words of persuasion. The IRGC claims victory in the war and argues that the U.S. and Israel failed to achieve their objectives despite vastly greater military spending. It directs the reader to Iran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz, continued weapons production, national unity and damage inflicted on U.S. bases in the region. It’s hard to argue that the statement is anything other than true. Once again, as in Vietnam, the U.S. military finds itself in a war essentially against China and Russia. Those countries supplied virtually all the anti-air missiles and weapons to the Vietnamese and North Korean armies; therefore, we Americans are fighting them and the Iranians supply the cannon fodder for the proxy battle. Same song, second verse or when will we ever learn. That’s unless it’s all part of some diabolical plan of course. I agree with the writer that the Strait of Hormuz is the determining factor in who wins this war. Could this be the Suez moment for the American empire referencing back to 1956 when President Eisenhower ordered the British out of the Sinai and Suez and told them if they did not comply he would destroy their financial system. That was the end of the British Empire and the establishment of America as the dominant force in the world. Then, in 1971 President Nixon cut the dollar loose from any restraint and started a long descent into debt penury. If Iran emerges from this war with the ability to decide who passes through the Gulf, under what conditions, and at what cost, it will be difficult to overstate the long term, worldwide implications of that. One thing that occurs to me is that the U.S., the one country that policed the oceans with its navy since world war ll can no longer guarantee passage through the most important energy chokehold in the world. U.S. military power would obviously be diminished and American credibility would be in doubt. The only way to confidently keep the Strait open against Iranian resistance it seems to me would be a ground invasion or a nuclear attack both catastrophic. Such attacks would be counterproductive in that so much of Iran’s oil production and shipping would be destroyed that it would be pointless. Iran supplies energy to Russia and China and it is not in the interest of those countries to have a pro American regime in power in Iran. I wonder if any of this which seems so obvious now was considered before the attack was launched. Why do the Iranians fight so hard. The writer says that its strength comes not from missiles or drones, but from Quranic principles, national unity and religious leadership. Much of the letter is devoted to the Islamic principle of resisting oppression regardless of the cost. If we look at each of those statements we can see problems. Missiles and drones, especially the technology come primarily from China. National unity really didn’t exist until the attacks came and as for religious leadership, the people seemed primed for revolution until American and Israeli bombs united them. Resistance to oppression is a noble trait that people fighting America from World War ll on have often overlooked. To bear any burden to overcome your oppressors is just about the highest calling of a people. What is meant by the chants of Death to America that we hear all the time and see from the crowds in the streets of Tehran. The slogan targets American political establishment, not ordinary Americans. The writer argues that Iranians and Americans are both victims of the same political elite. I agree that we are both victims of the same ruling elite. The globalist oppressors who seek the destruction of our culture, heritage, way of life, and ultimately our lives. At the same time, I would not welcome the destruction of the American political system as it was designed and was intended to be, not the corrupt thing it is now. Considering Quranic principles, the writer doesn’t address the directive for continual war until the Mahdi comes to make the world as it is promised. What about the principle of Jihad or kill those who refuse to submit. Perhaps, as I have read, only 10% of the world of Islam is truly in the Jihadi way of thinking. The world contains about 1 billion Muslims so that would be 100 million. America should no longer be committed to eternal war than the Jihadis but it has to be on guard. If we kept our distance, perhaps violence would settle down. The letter gives us the history lesson that I have repeated so many times in this Castle Report. 73 years of hostility going back to 1953 when a coup installed the Shah. Sanctions placed on Iran during the Iran-Iraq war which took ten years and at least a million lives. The downing of flight 655, an Iranian airliner apparently shot down by mistake with a missile from a US. guided missile cruiser. The assassination of Qasem Soleimani, general of Iranian armed forces and a national hero. The 2025 war, the unrest in the country for which the writer blames America and finally the current war. All these things are set out in the letter as wounds that simply cannot be healed through negotiation. The writer alleges that the charges that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapon is one of Washington’s biggest lies. U.S. officials have for many years claimed that Iran was only weeks or months away from a nuclear weapon yet there is still no nuclear weapon. That one seems pretty accurate to me and even Tulsi Gabbard the Director of National Intelligence at the time, supported it. The letter argues that U.S. support for Israel has damaged America’s interests, reputation and finances, while American taxpayers continue funding Israeli military action. Of all the points made by the letter that one seems the hardest to argue with and its truth is obvious at least to me. China, according to the writer, continues to advance while Washington spends its enormous resources fighting wars abroad. I will add my own commentary by saying that the wars abroad are almost always, pointless, without any U.S. interests, stupid, bloody, costly misadventures except they further the ultimate plan of reducing the world into a globalized farm for the all wise techno elite who seem to run things now. We are advised by the writer to close the 800 foreign bases and come home. End aid to Israel and redirect that money toward science, advanced manufacturing, and domestic prosperity. I’ll let you folks decide whether that sounds like pretty good advice or not. In conclusion folks, the letter makes its real point by advising Americans to use their votes to

President Trump Speaks to the UN

Darrell Castle talks about the President’s speech, last Tuesday, to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City. He also discusses the administration’s decision to sell advanced F-35 stealth jets to Saudi Arabia. Transcription / Notes PRESIDENT TRUMP SPEAKS TO THE UN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 25th day of September in the year of our Lord 2026. My beat today is not war although there is some war in it. I will be talking about the President’s speech last Tuesday to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City. In addition, I will say a few words about the administration’s decision to sell advanced F-35 stealth jets to Saudi Arabia and the Israeli reaction to that decision. His speech was more of a campaign speech than a statesmanlike address to the world’s diplomats. He listed many of the things he claims to have accomplished during his term and if they we were all true I would be a reasonably happy man at least foreign policy wise. He said that when he left office the first time the country was a peaceful and prosperous place but when he returned he found it to be a mess he had to fix. I’m just giving my own take on what he said but to me he seemed to be pleading his case to them that if they and the other decision makers of the world would just listen to him and do what he demands we would all be happy, peaceful, and prosperous. For example, he spent quite a bit of time explaining to the members that before he was President his company tried to get the contract to remodel the UN building in which he was speaking. He said he told them he would guarantee a first-class job with marble floors and walnut walls for only $500 million guaranteed. They refused his offer and the resulting cost was about $3 billion and for inferior work. The man does know how to build beautiful buildings so that much of his speech is probably true, but as to war, well that’s another thing entirely. He told them that he has stopped 7 wars and two more wars are raging but he is working night and day to stop them. The wars he ended were said to be unendable and would go on forever but he ended them. The war currently raging in Ukraine is really terrible because so many young men are dying but Russia can not be persuaded it seems. Now, an ironic thing he didn’t mention leads me to think that perhaps Russia is not so bad and can be dealt with. Diesel prices are soaring in the US if the fuel is even obtainable so he told Zelensky to stop attacking Russia’s ability to produce diesel. Zelensky promptly attacked the same refineries again and then the day after Trump again asked him to stop he hit Russia’s biggest diesel refinery and bragged about it. So, what is the American president supposed to do with a man who takes our money, begs for more, then snubs his nose when the President needs his help for the mid-terms. I have a suggestion for the President that I submit would end the war very quickly. Not one more dollar, not one more bomb, not one more bullet and most importantly no more targeting information. I at least understand why he attacked Iran but Ukraine is another matter. He attacked Iran because Bibi Netanyahu told him too but Ukraine makes no sense. I don’t see any Israeli interest there and he is certainly no friend of the Europeans. He has continually said that he and Putin are on very good terms so why keep funding Russia’s enemies. Iran is a whole other matter because he campaigned on a promise that he would be known for the wars he didn’t start. I admit that message was music to my ears and it drew me in. If true it would have negated his abrasive personality but just about a year after inauguration he launched an unprovoked attack against Iran and started another costly, unending, unwinnable war. Whatever Bibi Netanyahu has on him is costing US taxpayers billions and costing the lives of a lot of people. So, what is the solution in Iran. The same as in Ukraine except whatever hold Bibi has might be very embarrassing, but it should be made public for the American people to see what they have been buying. Maybe he could end it like he did as he explained to the diplomats in this quote. “Likewise, in a period of just seven months, I have ended seven unendable wars. They said they were unendable. You’re never gonna get them solved. Some were going on for 31 years, two of them, 31, think of it, 31 years. One was 36 years; one was 28 years. I ended seven wars, and in all cases, they were raging with countless, thousands of people, being killed. This includes Cambodia and Thailand; Kosovo and Serbia; the Congo and Rwanda, a vicious violent war that was; Pakistan and India; Israel and Iran; Egypt and Ethiopia; and Armenia and Azerbaijan. It included all of them. No president or prime minister, and for that matter, no other country has ever done anything close to that. And I did it in just seven months. It’s never happened before. There’s never been anything like that. Very honored to have done it.” Back to Ukraine for a moment because the G-20 conference is coming up soon in Miami. The top 20 economies in the world meet and greet and discuss plans for how they can make the world worse. This meeting is being held at the Doral Country Club and Resort and it is owned by Donald Trump. The President has specifically invited Vladimir Putin to the meeting which would obviously not be a neutral site but literally on Trump’s home turf. Putin has not publicly said whether or not he will attend but I hope he does and I hope something can be accomplished. Well, now we switch back to the Middle East in honor of the opening paragraph of this Report. Yes, President Trump has agreed to sell F-35 stealth jets to Saudi Arabia and no one seems to know why. I’m guessing but I like to think of it as logic and not guesswork. The Saudis are under constant attack by Houthi drones and missiles and the attacks have included civilian targets in the Saudi capitol of Riyadh. I don’t remember missile attacks inside the capital before and the new Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salmon is very upset about it. He called on Trump and asked for military aide but apparently Trump said no. Many people seemed to think that decision marked the end of the US/Saudi alliance which has existed since1974 but maybe not. The F-35 is an advanced stealth fighter with the capability of vertical take off and landing. It has problems which have grounded about 50% of the fleet from time to time. Nevertheless, when it is flying it is state of the art so naturally the Israelis are very upset about the deal or so they pretended to be. The Israelis publicly stated that they “demand” compensation for the sale. If you have ever wondered if the US has complete sovereignty when it comes to Israel this demand puts that question to rest. What do they mean by using the word compensation. First of all, the Israelis like to pretend they are enemies with the Saudis but in reality the two countries are allies who have a common enemy at least currently. The Iranians are attacking inside both countries and they share intelligence and cooperate militarily against the common enemy. What they really mean, once again trying to apply logic is more free stuff and they want the stuff the US has refused to give them. They asked Trump for the latest space-based munitions but he declined to provide that material or intelligence. The US Air Force just announced or admitted if you prefer that the US has weapons in orbit around the earth. The justification is that China is doing it too. Well, I hope that Trump does not give in to their demand and provide them with access to US space-based systems. Do you trust them to that degree because I sure don’t. Let me take a moment and talk about how the F-35 program works. The US taxpayers pay to do all the research and development (R&D) of the program then they pay Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and the others to build the airplanes. They pay for the testing and redesign when, inevitably, there are problems with something so complicated. Once the aircraft is built, tested and certified ready for service the taxpayers buy the airplanes from those companies. When there are crashes or other problems that must be tested and fixed they pay for that. If the US decides to sell the aircraft to the Saudis the government gives permission for the US defense contractors to sell the aircraft. In this particular deal the US has assured the Israelis that the F-35’s the Saudis are getting will not be ready for five years and they will not be the most advanced version the Israelis have. In conclusion folks, If I were in the office of president today, knowing no more that I know currently without access to the 17 US intelligence agencies, I would tell both countries that I would no longer sell them weapons. I would tell them further that they would be well advised to behave with their neighbors as if they no longer have the US military to back stop every bad decision they make with US blood and treasure. Such a decision might get me killed but that risk goes with the job. Finally, folks, President Trump has said that he is the most powerful person who has ever lived but I suspect that Netanyahu, Zelensky, and a few others are showing us that he is mistaken. At least that’s the way I see it, Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

    Two Hundred Days of War

Darrell Castle gives his thoughts on the Iran War and asks the question what has 200 days of war accomplished for the United States. He reminds us that yesterday, September 17th, was the 239th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. Transcription / Notes TWO HUNDRED DAYS OF WAR Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 18th day of September in the year of our Lord 2026. My beat is war once again as the United States of America passes two milestones this week. Yesterday the 17th was Constitution Day and this week the US passed 200 days in its war against Iran. So, our subject is what has been accomplished in those 200 days. Yes, we are 200 days into the war against Iran and just on a brief inventory I will list a few of the things it has accomplished. It seems to me that war has torn the U.S. and much of the world apart in the last few days. Here’s an excellent quote from the London Times via Bill Bonner. “The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq cost more than 7000 American lives, hundreds of thousands of civilian ones and trillions of dollars, turning that surplus into a debt of more than $40 trillion. Seeing the world’s sole superpower flounder for a decade against roadside bombs and soviet-era rifles wrecked American self-esteem and drained Washington’s international authority. But the deeper damage was to Americans’ faith in their government and in themselves.” That is about as good a summation of what GWB called the war on terror as I could write myself. This reporter, Gerald Baker, is telling us that America has lost its way and we may never find the way again. The US has now spent more than two decades dealing out death and destruction across the world with very little if any to show for it. Now, we are in an even worse situation thanks to the unprovoked attack against Iran about 200 days ago. That attack has in so many ways torn the world apart. Thanks to the empowerment of Iran which was once a backwater country with its own people, especially its women, on the verge of rebellion because of the regime’s harsh treatment, that backwater now controls the world’s economy at least the fuel portion of it. Fuel may not be everything in the economic world but everything depends on it. When it comes to fuel the war seems to be going worse than ever and it has been a catastrophe for the world’s economy. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz which it made no effort to control before it was attacked. The Houthis are gaining control of the Red Sea and the chokepoints leading to it. Iraqi militia, undoubtedly armed by Iran have devastated the Saudi oil production and shipment facilities to the point that fuel in Europe is drying up. The Saudis built a pipeline from their oil facilities across to the Red Sea to avoid Iranian attacks on shipping in the Gulf but repeated drone attacks have destroyed the pipeline so the Saudis are unable to ship oil right now. There have been so many Iranian missile attacks on US. bases and all the oil producing nations that oil is becoming critically short worldwide. Here in the US, we have developed a system where we don’t stockpile anything as we used to. Instead trucks continually roll to grocery stores and if they miss one day there is no food. Diesel delivers all the stuff we consume and if you’ve driven anywhere lately you know the highways are full of trucks and they all run on diesel. Since the price of diesel is soaring, over $6 in my area, the price of food and everything else is soaring too. The Iranians do not have the same system. They don’t have to take delivery to prevail, they just have to make sure no one else takes delivery. The fuel shortage is growing worse by the day here in America. The emergency petroleum reserve is at a critically low point and even Donald Trump is alarmed so apparently that is why he made the deal with Venezuela for their oil. Will it be too little too late, time will tell I guess. It seems that petroleum is not the only thing in short supply. The Iranians are very clever people and they seem to have figured out that they can run us short of missiles as well as petroleum. The THAAD system, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense System is one of the nation’s most expensive defensive systems costing about $13 million per missile. Consider that it is tasked with shooting down missiles supplied to Iran by China probably in exchange for oil which they have in abundance. If a swarm of missiles is fired at Israel THAAD will be highly effective against one, two, perhaps ten but at what cost. The system is not as effective against the hypersonic missiles the Iranians are currently using so perhaps tens of millions expended for each attack all back to US taxpayers. Military records show that 134 THAADs were fired in June of 2025 well before the current war even started. Now, apparently the supply is critically short and the maximum production capacity is about 8 missiles per month. It’s easy to see the problem. Even if THAAD is completely effective US production capacity cannot keep up. If that were all it would be plenty but as usual it gets worse. According to anonymous, but trusted federal officials as reported by Tucker Carlson, the US has to replenish not only its own weapons expended but Israel’s too. Reportedly the Trump administration plans to send a total of 40,000 Mark 84 and BLU-117 bombs to the Israeli government in the coming months. The records reveal that in World War ll all the allied nations combined from 1939 until 1945 dropped 3.4 million tons of bombs on their Axis enemies. The US didn’t even enter the war until late 1941. The bombs I just mentioned being provided to Israel, 40,000 of them each contain 2000 pounds of explosive force or one ton. That means 40,000 tons if the transfer is approved. Some members of congress are starting to take notice however because Thomas Massie has introduced articles of impeachment against Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and he promised to push it to a vote as one of his last acts before leaving office in November. Yes, Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012 but he was primaried out of congress this year and will be leaving in November. He has always been critical of the Iran war and of the US relationship with Israel and I suppose that was just too much for the proponents of the war to bear. Coincidentally, yesterday, the 17th was Constitution Day which celebrates the 239th anniversary of the document that moved America from the status of a colony ruled by Britain to an independent, self-governing republic. Here are a few words from Massie’s articles of impeachment. “It is appropriate on this day, the 239th anniversary of our Constitution, that Members of the House of Representatives can stand and vote to validate their constitutional oath and to impress upon the self-proclaimed Secretary of War that his days of waging preemptive, aggressive war are over. The current Secretary’s practice of extrajudicial killings, of playing policeman, prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner will be at an end, if the House votes to impeach. Every American should understand the gravity of the conduct of Secretary Hegseth: Unilateral initiation and continuation of war, the taking of life without due process, the abandonment of protections for civilians, the suppression of free speech, the separation of powers and the constitutional authority of Congress” The articles also include charges which I won’t quote but I will attempt to summarize as I am able. The United States conducted a preemptive attack on Iran at the request of Benjamin Netanyahu. Iran’s leader Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei and members of his family were killed. US and Israeli planes attacked a clearly marked school and killed at least 168 mostly schoolgirls. The school was attacked in three separate raids. He followed illegal orders and continued to accelerate the attacks on Iran. Oil shipments have been cut off and gas prices are soaring. He ordered the deaths of individuals traveling by boat in the Caribbean, alleging they were drug smugglers, arrogating to himself a God-like power over life and death. These are very serious charges and if proven justify impeachment but do they have to be proven. They don’t have to be proven to advance the process from the initial introduction to a full house vote but at some point if they are advanced they will have to be discussed and voted on. Just the fact that Articles of Impeachment have been introduced proclaims to the world that at least one member of congress thinks the war and the way US war policy is being conducted is so objectionable it deserves impeachment. One result of this is that victory or a favorable conclusion to the war is now impossible. It is an act that any enemy would very much like to see because it says they are so divided there is no consensus and therefore they can’t prevail. Finally, folks, these are some of the most embarrassing and frustrating moments that America has had to face in my lifetime. This war has revealed Israeli motives but what it has revealed about the US, its leadership makes no sense to me but I guess even the world’s only super power can get into a mess it can’t seem to get out of. At least that’s the way I see it, Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

    9-11 Plus Twenty-five Years

Darrell Castle shares his thoughts about murder and mayhem as he looks back at the anniversary of 9-11 and the 1st anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Transcription / Notes 9-11 PLUS TWENTY-FIVE YEARS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 11th day of September in the year of our Lord 2026. My beat is murder and mayhem today as we look back at the anniversary of what the media tells us is the worst terrorist attack in American history. Along with the 25th anniversary of 9-11 we look at the 1st anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Yes, folks I am sorry to have to report to you that in the last 25 years things have gotten worse in America as murder has gone mainstream and more sympathy is often generated for the murderers than for their victims. For example, just look at the trial of Lindsay Clancy, also this month, a trial in which a jury could not convict a woman who admitted to strangling her 3 children. Her daughter was 5 years old and there were two sons aged 3 and two. She strangled them one at a time with her bare hands but she generated a lot more sympathy, especially from mothers than her children were able to generate. I’m afraid that as a society we are sinking further and further into the abyss as cold-blooded murder goes mainstream and simple respect for human life as something created by God in his image disappears. I knew something was desperately wrong and that this nation and its people had changed radically when in December of 2024 a man named Luigi Mangione on a street in Washington D.C. shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He shot Mr. Thompson in the back and the murder was videotaped by security cameras. After his act of pre-meditated murder Mr. Mangione hid out for awhile but he was eventually arrested at which time he became a folk hero for killing this evil capitalist. Perhaps his cult following will eventually diminish as I believe he has pled guilty in return for some consideration in sentencing which probably means no death sentence and no life without parole. This case had an overt ideological motive which captured the sensibilities of a lot of people apparently and it reminded me of the murder of Charlie Kirk in that regard. I’m sure that all of you know who Charlie was. He had a very strong Christian faith which he took to college campuses where he engaged in debate with those who wanted to do so. His message brought condemnation from those who blamed his message as one preaching hate. In other words, to those people if you point out that the bible voices disapproval of their lifestyle or habits then you hate them and you are encouraging others to do so. Charlie was speaking at a college campus in Utah one year ago yesterday when he was gunned down by a lone nut shooter or so we are told. Isn’t it interesting that when anyone who is not in complete lockstep with the prevailing power system existing at the time is gunned down in public it is always a lone nut. JFK, RFK, MLK, Charlie and many others all by lone nuts. Even the apparent assassination attempt on the life of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania was conducted by a lone nut who was then quickly killed. Donald Trump knew history though and he quickly ordered an end to the investigation so the blame could forever fall on the dead lone nut. I titled this Report to commemorate the anniversary of 9-11 and the death of Charlie Kirk but in reporting to you I went down the rabbit hole of murder because that’s where the evidence led me and that is where those murders have left America. Charlie Kirk’s murder was a message sent and received. The message was the obvious of course and that is don’t tell us the bible says you shouldn’t do that. The not so obvious message was that if you have a problem with America killing Israel’s enemies you just keep that thought to yourself and under no circumstances will you survive if you share those beliefs with the president. In one sense I guess I have buried the lead today but I hope you can see that it is all connected. I don’t claim to have any inside information about 9-11 or Charlie as far as who did it and why he or they did it and I don’t believe in fairy tales. I used to enjoy them when I was a child and I had all the stories in the Golden Books but when I became an adult I put them away. What I would like you to understand is that I believe the version of events we have been presented by the power elite and their handmaidens is the real fairy tale and the truth lies somewhere else. There is a new book on the subject by a man named Curt Weldon who spent 20 years in the U.S. congress but when he refused to drop his 9-11 investigation he was defeated just like Thomas Massie was. His book is entitled Able Danger and it presents an investigation into who in the U.S. government knew before the attacks that they were coming. I highly recommend this book to all of you. It will be available on Amazon on September 22nd but I got a copy through Tucker Carlson’s network. The book talks about a classified U.S. army intelligence program called Able Danger. He asserts that U.S. Intelligence knew that Mohammed Atta and the Al Qaeda network had been operating inside the U.S. for more than a year before the attacks, but the institutional decisions made by those running the program intentionally kept that news from the FBI and others charged with preventing such things. He pressed for years to get answers because he was personally acquainted with many of the roughly 350 firefighters who died that day and he believes he owes them at least an investigation. To sum up the book a little most of the facts he uncovered have been suppressed and the warnings about Able Danger were deliberately silenced. Get the book and read it and you will see why he is so emotional when he talks about that day. The 25 years post 9-11 leads me to ask myself if the nightmare that day was has ever ended. It was a monumental event of epic proportions and similar in historic significance to the fall of Singapore because it spelled the end of a world order and the beginning of what we have come to call the new world order. This July 4th marked the 250th anniversary of the Founding of America which collides head on with the anniversary of 9-11 because that event locked the Bill of Rights in a closet and burned the house down. In fact, we have been in a continuous state of emergency since then and there is always some foreign power that is just about to do us in. You might not know this but until Vietnam America had never fought a war longer than four years, but now they all seem to last forever and cost trillions. Whatever happened on 9-11 and whoever in government knew about it in advance has not been completely proven because there has been no real public investigation. One thing we do know with absolute certainty is that the government which was led at the time by George W. Bush, used the climate of fear generated by the attacks to expand its powers over the American people. The Department of Homeland Security, a German sounding name, combined all the nations intelligence agencies under one director and also created new ones. America was formed, Mr. Jefferson told us, so that we and our posterity would only be governed with the consent of the governed. There would be no king to rule over America whose very words were law, but now we have allowed such an expansion of executive powers that the Constitution is simply ignored in favor of Executive Orders. When those orders are overruled by some Federal Court there is always a higher court or the system just punts and tries in a different direction. Little by little in response to 9-11 or perhaps it was all just part of the plan the government started incrementally at first, then wholesale, to dismantle the fundamental protections enshrined in the Constitution that made America unique from every other country which had existed on this earth. So, for 25 years we have resurrected many of the powers over which our ancestors rebelled and adopted them right here in America all wrapped in the flag. We don’t have peace, we don’t have security, in fact we are told each day that some madman could start a nuclear war at any moment. We are told that right now as I speak AI systems are working on ways to create and launch global biowarfare by creating and releasing heretofore unknown viruses. Digging deeper into the AI threat, and I know that AI does some good things because my dear wife uses it often to solve problems while I remain committed to finding my own solutions through hard work and dogged determination. In investigating what AI can and can’t do I have concluded that its real master, its real creator cannot be overridden. So, who or what is the real master, well, that’s the question isn’t it. Whoever the real master is in my opinion is the greatest enemy of humanity in the history of the world. Aside from AI, my opinion is that due to fear after 9-11 the U.S.A. Patriot Act drove the final nail through the heart of the Bill of Rights and then placed it in that burning house with all our other God given, government protected rights and that is the real legacy of 9-11. With each new administration the abuse of power gets worse as tyrants become bolder and bolder. Finally, folks, much of the abuse of power lies at the feet of the mass media which is supposed to be a watchdog but is instead a lapdog only yapping a little when someone challenges the prevailing power system. The security guarding the gates of our national morality has laid down arms and fled it seems but I pray that we can get it back. At least that’s the way I see it. Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle. Thanks for listening.

    The Science and the CIA

Darrell Castle talks about the newly revealed evidence linking the science, i.e. Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the CIA and their formal institutional partnership. Transcription / Notes THE SCIENCE AND THE CIA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 4th of September in the year of our Lord 2026 and I will be talking about the newly revealed evidence linking the science, i.e. Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the CIA and their formal institutional partnership that apparently provided cover for the CIA’s biological threat research. Before the partnership between NIH and the CIA congress moved to ban federal funding for gain-of-function research. The new policy requires enhanced review and reporting requirements for life sciences research including independent, top-down assessments for projects that may increase the harmful consequences of biological agents. So, a reasonable question might be why do you want to make any biological agent more harmful to the human race. The answer to that question is obviously to make the virus more lethal so it can be used to kill more humans. The new safeguards also prevent funding research projects in countries without adequate oversight. So, I guess that means no more NIA funding of bat virus in China. Congress is trying, it seems to me; to indicate its collective shock and to foster the belief that it had no idea the science was using taxpayer money to fund Chinese research into making virus pathogens more deadly to humans, then unleashing them on humanity. The new director of the FDA is taking the approach with this legislation and the new regulations that it was all just a mistake made by well meaning scientists and now with the standard clearly set out they will stop trying to develop new ways to kill off the human race. On the other hand, Dr. Fauci wrote in his diary in August 2022 that he knew the COVID vaccines were not really effective but he didn’t want the public to know that because if they did then people would not take their boosters and would not accept the federal mandates. If that were all it would be plenty, but as usual it gets worse. Newy disclosed documents reveal the NIA and CIA partnership I mentioned. Apparently, now these ties ran and run far deeper than anyone in authority seemed to know about. Apparently only a handful of investigators realized that Dr. Fauci was working with intelligence on their bioweapons research projects. Now, we learn that NIH used its existing research to “augment and compliment” its own research combined with that being conducted by CIA. A Rutgers University chemistry professor named Richard Ebritht who has been researching the matter said; “Vice President Cheney assigned Fauci to head US biodefense research programs in 2002, including bioweapons-agents-development and bioweapons-agents-characterization research programs that approached, and arguably crossed, red lines set by the Biological Weapons Convention. The documents show early steps in the process of transferring funding for and direction of CIA and DOD Biodefense Projects to Fauci’s agency NIAID.” So, the bioscience and intelligence communities have been working closely together for a long time. I wonder why that is the case but I remember now that the CIA is limited by law to only foreign work. Their agents are not to be employed to do clandestine work or gather intelligence on American citizens. That means they have to use the science in foreign countries to accomplish their ends such as making laboratories to develop deadly pathogens. You might remember that the Russians argued that one of the reasons they invaded Ukraine was that the Americans had built about 30 bioweapons labs in Ukraine many of them near the Russian border. Well, I turns out that the real number was 32 approximately and when the Russian forces got near one it had to be very quickly shut down and moved to prevent the Russians from gaining access to the pathogens it contained as well as the evidence of American ownership. I suppose the reasoning is something like this. We can’t legally build these labs to develop horrible infectious diseases to make war against others and we need them because if others know we have them they will not be bold enough to make their own. In reality the opposite is likely true. If others know you are making them they will make their own even worse pathogens so that we can all mutually infect each other. I know it sounds insane because it is but that’s how these people think or don’t think depending on how you look at it. Even though it is illegal to have these labs in the US they have been and are being built. Just the other day one was found in California and I believe it had a lot of Chinese scientists working there. The CIA says that it needs scientists and infectious disease experts to serve as “a living sensor web” to gather information from foreign researchers, universities, and conferences. That sounds like CIA speak for making spies out of scientists. The CIA blames much of this on 911 and it now says that is when it started to get out of control when suspected anthrax was mailed, apparently, to several high-ranking officials. Former Operations OfficerJames Erdman III testifying before a Senate committee said, “the line between public health and national security became increasingly blurred beyond recognition since then.” The CIA has been up to something else lately and perhaps it at least was an attempt to make things better and stave off conflict. I say perhaps because that puts the best spin on it and we don’t know for certain the real reason. Last week the Director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe boarded a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster transport plane at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, stopped in NATO member Latvia, on the Russian border then flew on to one of the four airports serving Moscow. Even though the CIA Director was the passenger this was not a subtle trip because the C-17 is one of the largest, if not the largest, airplanes in the world and it was apparently used to transport only one man. So, the trip was meant to be seen by the world’s press and anyone else who wanted to take notice. The question has been the subject of much speculation or scuttlebutt as they say in the military but no one knows for sure and guesses are all we have. The Director and the staff who accompanied him left the airport in Moscow in a diplomatic motorcade of armored vehicles so maybe the  vehicles were transported I the C-17 for secure communications Mr. Ratcliffe was apparently in Russia to meet with FSB head, Aleksandr Bortnikov, and his counterpart in foreign intelligence, Sergei Naryshkin. There was hope a meeting with Vladimir Putin would happen, but as far as they will admit, it didn’t happen. Why make this unscheduled and last-minute trip especially in such a gigantic airplane which was a grand show for the world’s press. Ratcliffe is a former mayor and congressman from Texas and a lawyer by training. He has no diplomatic experience and his only negotiation skills would have been learned in his legal capacity. He was in Russia for only one day and that was apparently spent in meetings with his Russian counterparts. The meeting was covered in speculation concerning recent reports coming out of Russia that Russia was going to take action against NATO because NATO was supplying drones and missiles for attacks inside Russia. If that speculation is the reason for the trip it probably means that Europe wants to avoid direct war with Russia at all costs and this trip was a last-ditch effort to prevent that. If so, I pray that it was successful. War between Russia and Europe would definitely involve the US because there are US troops all over Europe and very close to the Russian border. It seems to me that Russia, given its struggles in Ukraine would be very reluctant to broaden the conflict to include Europe and the US. Perhaps then, a possible reason for the trip was to warn the Russians that an attack against any NATO member would in evidently be followed by US action against Russia. I have no idea if that is true but it seems like a reasonable guess. You might notice in all this that it is the US which has its troops, about 80,000, right on the Russian border and as far as we know there are no Russian troops on the US border. Maybe Putin is trying to convince NATO that he is being forced into a war that none of them really want. In conclusion, I close this out with a little more on Dr., I am the Science, Fauci. Under his direction most or all of this nightmare happened. This information is now well documented fact, not mere speculation. NIAID, under his direction, funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through a subgrant to EcoHealth Alliance. That research included creating viruses with enhanced ability to infect human respiratory cells. He did it with US tax dollars, yours and mine and then he sought to defend his action by using the Fifth Amendment. Finally, folks, I pray that Mr. Ratcliffe’s trip was successful and I further pray that those who perpetrated the attack we have been trained to call a pandemic are somehow held accountable. At least that’s the way I see it, Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

Oh Canada, Can’t We Work This Out?

Darrell Castle talks about the trade problems between the U.S. and Canada which Prime Minister Mark Carney has descibed as a war. Transcription / Notes OH CANADA CAN’T WE WORK THIS OUT? Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 28th day of August in the year of our Lord 2026. I will be talking about the trade problems between the U.S. and Canada which Prime Minister Mark Carney has described as a war. My argument is that he is right because it is war but not the one he wants you to concentrate on. This war is one between the very elite group of globalists who are also the enemies of humanity as they attempt to control all humanity through their control of money, credit, interest, and banking in general. Before he became Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney was head of the London Central Bank and I have no doubt that he was installed in Canada to be sure globalist control continues. Now the bankers appear to be very nervous with the U.S. mid-terms coming up so if only Trump could be damaged by this “trade war.” The tactic or strategy is what Carney and his operatives in the American Democrat Party call the doughnut strategy. They call it that because they want to go around the American President through Democrat leadership directly to the American people. Convince them that trump is at economic war with nice, friendly Canada and maybe the usual group of globalist bankers can take back control in November. Don’t get me wrong here folks I still think the Iran war was and is about the stupidest foreign policy decision in American history. I have a theory that the reason those American sailors during World War ll could stay at sea in desperate combat for years without complaint and the sailors on the Lincoln were suicidal after 9 months. World War ll sailors were fighting for their parents, wives, girlfriends, their way of life and they knew it. Nobody had to feed them a pack of lies to keep them going but in Iran the sailors know that it is stupid and pointless and its purpose is nothing American. That is a morale killer if I’ve ever heard of one. Yes, you are right about him being crass, vulgar, egotistical in ways we’ve never seen before and in ways that makes one wonder if he is delusional about himself. He is a flawed candidate and a flawed human being but if you study our history flawed human beings are numerous in leadership and sometimes in greatness. Barack Obama, and Joe Biden were both vulgar and egotistical as well but they didn’t flaunt it quite as well as Donald Trump. The U.S. and Canada have a long history of cooperation primarily in two areas, economic and military. Canada contributed greatly to the allied efforts during World War ll both in troops and in manufacturing. When the war ended both Canada and the U.S. had a new enemy called the Soviet Union. The Soviets were right at the edge of Europe and it was generally assumed that they would invade any day. NATO was formed to resist the Soviet menace and that included Canada. Generally speaking, Canada has always remained more closely allied with Europe especially the UK than with the U.S. although the two militaries were integrated for mutual protection against the soviet threat. NORAD, the North American Air Defense system famously headquartered in a rock mountain in Colorada has Canadian military warning systems integrated. If a Soviet missile were launched against the U.S. in those days it was expected to come from the north across the Arctic and parts of Canada. The two nations built a network of radar early warning systems across the northern part of Canada and they are still functional today. So, the two sides have a mutually beneficial military relationship and both apparently want that relationship to continue. Although the Canadian military is an empty shell of what it once was the two sides still need each other. The U.S. needs the strategic depth that Canada provides as much as it ever has since tensions with Russia always seem to be there. Canada needs U.S. manufacturing and defense technology and so the military relationship remains intact. Economically, well that’s another matter completely. The U.S. has some room to maneuver economically because about 72% of all the products Canada exports come to the U.S. President Trump wants to shift the economic relationship to one a little more favorable to the U.S. because as he sees it Canada taxes U.S. goods going into Canada at a much higher rate that the U.S. taxes theirs. That is a practice that Trump referred to as acting like the 51st state without all the responsibility of statehood.  The two sides set down last week to talk and try to resolve the matter and for a while it seemed like they had a deal. President Trump announced that they had a deal pending finalization of documents and the threatened 50% tariffs were lifted until the documents were finalized. All of a sudden at about midnight on Friday the Prime Minister called his diplomats home and announced in a solemn interview that Canada had been attacked and it was therefore at war with the United States. There are videos, and I concede that with AI who knows what is real, but the videos I’m referring to show Democrat operatives the most prominent of which is Hilary Clinton plotting with Carney to keep this disagreement going until after the midterms. Will it work. Time will tell but not everyone was as impressed with Carney’s characterization of the breakdown as he seemed to be. U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said that the U.S. presented Canada with the best trade terms of any country in the world but Canada wants to retain all tariffs of their own while removing all American tariffs. There seems to be growing dissatisfaction in the parts of Canada where people still work for a living and workers realize the Canadian position in these negotiations will probably cost their jobs. Already the median standard of living in the U.S. is about $90 thousand while in Canada its about $60 thousand. The other aspect of this dispute is Canada’s growing relationship with China. Canada is trying to increase its Chinese market as a way to avoid U.S. tariffs and of course Carney wants to give the impression he can live without the U.S. Canada is accused by U.S. trade people of assembling Chinese goods in Canada then hoping to ship them to the U.S. duty free. In response the Canadians say the U.S. is trying to control which countries Canada does business with. This attitude, logic tells me, will cripple the Canadian economy and ruin the economic lives of many people. Perhaps Carney is so dedicated to his cohort of European globalist banker friends that he will deliberately cripple his own people to accommodate them. Getting Trump’s majority taken away thus curtailing Trump’s ability to thwart their plans is apparently worth it. The military relationship is a factor in all this as I said earlier. It is complicated by the fact that hardly any leaders on either side have military experience. During Vietnam about 75% of the U.S. congress had military experience but now its about 20% and the President has no military experience at all. That fact sometimes results in leadership which doesn’t understand the military and its problems. Furthermore, it creates a disrespect for military leadership and the advice top leaders give to inexperienced politicians is discounted. The upper leadership in the military sometimes appears to be a revolving door because politicians can’t handle their stark truth. Canada is currently recruiting non-Canadians to serve in the military I suppose because very few Canadians want to do it. Canadians, like Americans probably see it all as a pack of lies and so they are skeptical. Potential soldiers from other countries are attracted to citizenship promises and higher pay but discipline and loyalty are lacking. The reason for this military diatribe in an economic report is because the relationship is still militarily very important to both sides and it is being damaged by this tactic which as I said is apparently designed between Carney, his globalist friends, and ambitious American Democrat politicians. In conclusion folks, Canada cannot win this war and I think they will soon realize that. The Canadian government doesn’t want to be seen as offering to surrender but I hope they can see that trying to out swagger Donald Trump politically is a losing proposition. Hopefully, the two sides can move forward in mutually agreed upon terms that ensure the people of both countries prosper because the alternative is a kind of no-man’s-land where their disputes constantly confront each other. Finally. Folks. I admit that much of this is simply my opinion but I argue that it is an educated opinion based on research. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and normal relations will prevail and sanity restored.  At least that’s the way I see it, Until next time folks, This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

DEBT – WHY IT’S SO IMPORTANT

Darrell Castle endeavors to explain why he thinks debt is the worst, most unsolvable problem we face as everything we call a standard of living hangs in the balance. Transcription / Notes DEBT—WHY IT’S SO IMPORTANT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Last week I mentioned that debt is the worst problem we face as a nation and I got some comments so this week I will endeavor to explain why I think debt is the worst, most unsolvable problem that we face and why I think that because of debt everything we have and everything we call a standard of living hangs in the balance. Sometimes we forget that in the 1990’s the federal government had a balanced budget, When Bill Clinton was president the federal government lived within its means but today it is $40 trillion in debt. So, what, many people say, because it doesn’t seem to affect them and after all they live in a nice home for which they have a 30-year mortgage. In the Clinton years the average age of first-time home buyers was in the 20’s but now it’s about 40. George w. Bush came along and decided we would be required to fight some of Israel’s enemies for then and so the debt started its out of control climb to the $40 trillion that it is today. Three fourths of the increase has been added since Obama took office and about $11 trillion or 28% since Trump took office.. In other words, it is accelerating because the U.S. has no way to fund it without borrowing more, a practice known as monetizing the debt or using more debt to pay debt otherwise known as a debt spiral. So, the problem in the private economy is inflation which is why gas was $1.25 in the 90’s and is about $4.00 in most places today. Inflation is caused by excessive money printing and excessive money in circulation which devalues all the money you make. If you make $85 thousand per year and do not get a raise for 10 years and there is no inflation you have not lost anything. When inflation doubles the price of necessities during that period you have lost a lot. People are starting to realize all that and it is causing some disturbing reactions especially among young people. They see the system as being gamed against them because some people are rich and they are not. No matter what they make they seem to barely get by, especially in New York, so when a charismatic leader comes along and says I will take from those bad rich people and give it to you they bite. They see the capitalistic system as bad and evil because they have not gotten theirs from it but that is exactly the wrong reaction. The system is broken but not because of a failure of design. It is broken because it has been perverted by a tiny group of globalist ruling elite who are not stupid. They see the entire system failing and on the brink of popping the bubble that props it up and they do not react by trying to fix it and restore soundness. No, the ever more feeble state doesn’t pull back and lick its wounds to heal. Instead, it becomes a predator extracting every last dollar from the system that it can. The entire post-war European model of a social state is no longer working, but the state and its ruling elite just keep looting and I suppose they hope we don’t notice. The system works like the old quote from George Carlin that we are all familiar with. “See, folks it’s a big club and you ain’t in it.” Well, I heard some former insider the other day say that George’s quote was spot on except today it should be amended to say that it’s a small club and you ain’t in it. A very small group of people run the world this man was saying and they see what is happening and it terrifies them. They know the debt will never be dealt with and will never be paid. They don’t think the deficit will ever again be reduced to zero so they see the only hope as total control through surveillance of every person on the planet. This is accomplished through the widespread use of flock cameras among many other things. The newspaper reports that there are over 1000 flock cameras in my city of Memphis. Total surveillance allows those in control to monitor us and act if we get too uppity. Central bank digital currency will be the primary method of dealing with all the debt the U.S. carries and with the growing dissatisfaction of people with consumer debt they can’t live without. The ruling elite first make debt slaves of us all and finally they start to sense chaos and perhaps revolution in the air and they have to do something. Publicly they have their bread and circus to pacify us but privately they have other methods. The people continue to elect what turns out to be the worst people in the country. The state has lost its fear of you or what you think about what it is doing. Let me give you an example by going back to the beginning. The founders designed a system whereby it took the will of the majority of the people’s representatives sitting in Congress to send the nation to war. The president had to go the congress and request permission to go to war and the people through their elected representatives had to agree. That was because war had to be paid for and that would require taxes which would affect everyone. What a quaint idea, but it might also require sending their sons to possible death so it was a serious matter. Even as late in history as George W. Bush’s war on Iraq if you remember he and Dick Chaney kept us in suspense for many months before the war so they could build a consensus of the people and the media to support the war. It worked because most people supported the war because of 911 etc. We could not imagine it was all just a set up and part of the plan. Now we are so numb we just don’t care anymore. The president sees poll after poll that shows his war on Iran to be the most unpopular in history but he doesn’t seem to care.  Going to congress or what the Constitution says means nothing nor does the oath of office. Now they don’t seem to care what the people think and they don’t even bother to convince us. They seem to know that this reckless waste of money is creating more and more resentment and a breaking point is rapidly approaching. Mr. Jefferson told us in the Declaration that rights come from the creator and they are inalienable. To secure those rights governments are instituted among men. In other words, the purpose of government is to secure our rights not to abuse them. He went on to say that when government becomes destructive of those ends it is the right of the people to abolish it. I submit to you that after many years of governments destructive of those ends the people are growing ever more weary and the tiny group of elites at the top can clearly see that and they are taking steps to make sure it never happens. What are some of those steps, well I’m glad you asked. Constant surveillance of every person on earth. Flock cameras everywhere and now even our cars report back on our behavior. Debasement of the currency to the point that central bank digital currency is obviously necessary and with it is the end of privacy, even the limited version of it we have today. Soon there will be constant monitoring of everything you say and write in the public domain. Constant, never ending, pointless, bloody wars, that are so stupid blind people can see them for what they are. Abandonment of the moral center of the country to the point that bedrock faith is just a ruse to appease a few right wingers. Demeaning of the culture at every level with the foulest words used constantly by those in high places. Those are just a few of the things already coming or on their way. To make all this work and save the elite a very small population of cooperative people is all that is necessary and AI will do the work. The population must be reduced to accommodate the sick dreams of these satanic madmen. Since AI is going to destroy the low and middle class well, I guess we don’t need as many of them complaining. There are many ways to kill us but the first way that should be obvious to anyone is biowarfare. COVID was and is the best example. The virus, thanks to the science, and his cohorts was engineered to kill in mass numbers but it didn’t so the Vaccine had to be invented to do its work. Destroy the reproductive systems of young women and cause miscarriages in those who are pregnant. I’ve read from Dr. Naomi Wolfe and her work that about 80% pf pregnant women who were injected with the mNRA vaccine miscarried. Dr. Fauci’s top assistant just pled guilty to covering up information about gain of function work on the virus. Pfizer admits through 10’s of thousands of pages of documents that it intentionally attacked the reproductive systems of women. In fact, one might say that Marx was right or at least on to something when he described religion as the opiate of the masses. What he might notice today is that opium and its directives are the opiate of the masses. The country has been flooded with drugs since Vietnam days and the more war we make against it the worse it gets. The illegal drugs are only a welcome part of the cocktail that our overlords feed us. Well meaning doctors do the only thing the system allows them in the 15 minutes every 6 months they are allowed to see us and that is prescribe big pharma cocktails for every problem. Any natural product,i.e. one made from leaves of trees grown in Asia must be banned to protect us. Yes, the government and its agents constantly scan to see what might help people so they can ban it. Let me go back to the beginning as I draw near the end by saying that they start with abortion. They have trained women along with the Supreme Court to call it reproductive freedom but now 10 states allow abortion until the moment of birth. That sounds a lot like cold blooded murder to me but the proponents of it clap like trained seals with no knowledge, apparently, that they are assisting a very evil few to

    The Worst Problem We Face

Darrell Castle talks about what he believes to be the worst, most difficult problem facing America. Transcription / Notes THE WORST PROBLEM WE FACE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 14th day of August in the year of our Lord 2026. I will be talking about what I believe to be the worst, most difficult to solve problem facing the nation. What do you think the most difficult or dangerous problem facing the nation is. Perhaps you would say it’s the Iran war. Maybe you think it is the growing menace we call AI and the fear that AI will take all the jobs from Americans leaving nothing but subsidies for them. Well, those are indeed difficult problems and I will talk a little about each of them. I read quite often from commentators coming from both the left and the right that the President is stuck in Iran and there is simply no way out, but I beg to differ. The two sides in the conflict constantly throw insults at each other and make demands. The latest demand from Iran includes a demand for compensation for the damage you Americans have done to Iran. The President’s reaction to that demand was “what, we don’t owe you money, you owe us money for the USS Cole and for the lives you have taken. A lot of the time when I analyze a dilemma I use a tactic I learned from Ron Paul a long time ago. That tactic is a moral position that if it is wrong for an individual to do something it is also wrong for the government to do it. It is illegal for individuals to cheat, steal, and under some circumstances to lie. It is a crime for individuals to lie to congress but it is OK and perhaps even expected for congress to lie to us. Using that analysis for the war when I hear people say it started in 1979 when the Islamic revolution overthrew the Shah so that’s about 46 years. My answer to that is that no, it began in 1953 or about 73 years ago. That is when U.S. and British leaders apparently in an effort to gain control over Iranian oil overthrew the democratically elected leader of Iran, Mr. Mosaddegh and replaced him with Shah Pahlavi who was out of the country but wanted desperately to return much as his son does today. In 1967 as a continuation of the Atoms for Peace program the U.S. began giving uranium to the Shah so he could develop peaceful nuclear power for electricity, medicine, etc. or at least that’s what was said about it. In 1979 the Shah was overthrown by a coalition of Islamists, leftists, and of course students. Once again, as Ron Paul pointed out they didn’t come over here until we went over there. The war between the U.S./Israel and the Muslims grows almost daily and tells me quite clearly that there is a very high price to be paid for being subject to the military demands of another country. I vehemently disagree with the view that there is no way out of Iran. Just tell the Iranians that we admit that we inadvertently, hopefully, attacked a school and killed about 160 little girls. We are very sorry we did that and for that mistake we will pay compensation to their families. Other than that, we have decided to rethink our Middle East strategy and in that regard we are withdrawing and leaving the region to fight its own wars. What will we then do with the hundreds of billions previously spent on this stupid, pointless war. That will become clear when we get to what the real problem is and how a possible solution is available. The second problem that many see as fatal today is the ever-growing power of AI. I’ll admit that I am no tech expert and in most tech I am barely competent but I’ll also admit that much of what I read and hear about AI is terrifying. The other day I read that some of the tech people in conjunction with scientists and or doctors were using AI to invent new viruses. To me, that’s about as terrifying as nuclear weapons. We read that AI is growing in intelligence on its own and the simpler or dumber if you prefer platforms are connecting with the smarter ones to learn and improve just as a child would with its parent. This is apparently being done without the parents’ consent or involvement. Recently, an AI system started hacking into information sources both private and public. Could AI launch nuclear weapons and start a world nuclear war. I don’t know but I do know it’s terrifying. New Orleans is now using AI to answer its 911 calls and I’m sure many cities will soon follow. So, AI is becoming ever smarter and humans thanks to education and propaganda and social media are becoming ever dumber. Therefore, AI is rapidly replacing more and more human workers including those whose work is the knowledge they possess. Those who think for a living are perhaps in more danger of losing their livelihood than manual workers. Soon, many believe, AI will take over almost all human creative activities including writing of all kinds as well as movies and TV production. Human actors may soon be a thing of the past. The other day I watched a 30-minute movie made by a couple of teenagers using AI and it was just as real as any you might see in theaters but none of the actors were real. The movie was about New York City, but it had some AI tells like palm trees in Manhattan but otherwise was very realistic. So, AI is terrifying but does that mean that our terror is just Luddite reactions to progress. Ned Ludd lived in the early 1800’s in England during the early stages of the industrial revolution. He led a movement against the rising fear and power of the new machines which were faster and better than simple labor. Machines were especially prevalent in the textile industry and followers of Mr. Ludd would go from town to town destroying machines in factories because they thought they could stop progress. Luddites became such a problem for the British government that factories were guarded by troops and many Luddites were killed. We can’t allow ourselves to become Luddites by trying to stop the computers because it will not work. They are coming for us and our jobs so the best course of action seems to me to be learning to live and work with them and to use them for good purposes. Naïve of me, perhaps but it seems like the only way. The Iran War and AI are both serious problems but both have solutions or at least ways to lessen their damaging impact. The most intractable problem of all is barely noticed by most people and yet is going to destroy their lives relatively quickly. When Donald Trump was elected in 2024 the US empire was in serious trouble and headed for bankruptcy. The era of spend all you want and I own all the money and there is no end to it is over or rapidly dying. Without the counterfeit money machine now probably run by AI there is no empire. Trump has simply accelerated the process toward bankruptcy to warp speed which is the opposite of why people voted for him.  The federal debt is now very close to 40 trillion and half of that has been added in the last 10 years or since Trump was first elected. Since July 1st of this year U.S. debt has already increased by $450nbillion. Over the last 13 months it has gone up by $3.6 trillion. It is increasing by $7 billion per day and at that rate by 2030 it will hit $60 trillion. Who cares, the people shout just give me mine and borrow to pay interest. The problem is that very soon the interest on all that debt will be the largest item in the budget and threatening all other terms. Currently about $1trillion per year in interest and growing to destroy the standard of living of our children. The debt has reached an impossible level and that means the U.S. government and that means you and me is a debt slave for life. That’s not even the worst of it folks because I’m talking about the effects of this credit based, no cash economy on Mr. and Ms. Average American. I submit to you that I am very qualified to discuss this subject because I was a bankruptcy lawyer for 46 years until I retired at the end of last year. I have literally been involved with thousands of people who got in so deep they could find no way out. I became pretty good at helping clients out of financial trouble and even wrote a book about it. Just listen to this one example to get an understanding of how debt affects our lives. Take a family with husband and wife working and they have one child but they plan others. They are doing well with good jobs so they buy a $500,000 house at 6.8% interest. The bank approves the family for the loan and simply creates the money out of thin air to pay to the original owner. The bank doesn’t go in the vault and get $500,000 it creates on its computer and it has a license to do that from the Federal Reserve. The deal is typically for 30 years but the nice family doesn’t care because they can afford the payments. The payment would be about $3,260 per month, not including taxes and insurance. In my city that $500,000 house would be charged about $1000 per month in tax plus insurance of maybe $250. So, over the 30 years mortgage payments alone would cost $673,000 just for interest or more than the value of the house. Real estate on that scale is to provide shelter not an investment because so many things can happen. The most common would be one of them loses a job and payments could no longer be made. They try to sell but the market is down and interest up. They are 3 months behind so foreclosure is the next step. Unlike the federal government or Federal Reserve, the nice family has to make payments with their labor which AI has probably taken from them and they cannot just create it out of thin air and take the interest from other people. I could go on and on with how this terrible problem of debt affects people but I am out of time for today. In my opinion it is the worst and most unsolvable of problems. For the government it would take a reduction of about $2 trillion per year to keep it from going higher and that would be a good place to start.
