Knowlege is Power 10 - Music

Music power - Where Kai asks "dad what is R&B?" So we take a music quiz to test our knowledge. We count musical notes for twelve - with a special intro by matenki crue. Kai Talks to Mark about being a DJ / Producer from his LA Studio. We love music, keeping making music.

Knowledge is Power 08- Elements

What is all the fuss about the elements? Find out here about the 4... or is it 5 elements in nature. Hummm interesting. Speaking of Nature, Kai is a natural at Free-styling about Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Then you can hear about Justin's job of pulling all the elements of a creative shoot together. Next here is a new way to get to 12, just listen. In game time we take Pokemon on DS to the limit. As always we end with jokes, everybody loves an elemental joke. Finally you find out that if you add all the elements together what you get is a hot flying mud pie.

Knowledge is Power 07- Hapa

Have you heard about Hapa? It is the Hawaiian word, that we explore in this episode. We speak to Asher and Jullia in Tokyo, about their family background. Kai provides the sample for the song "It wha oh". It is a whoa. In "What is your job?", Kai interviews Murdika in Bali. Murdika showed us the sights and sounds of the sea. Counting to 12 in Indonesian can be fun, let's try. As we always do, we end with a joke. A hapa haha. Have a listen and discover that being half can be a whole lot of fun.

Are you Hungry? It is all about the Food, baby. Then Kai's Munch Melody, moves you to grab a fork. We say eat local and buy sustainable. It has worked before. Then the new word, Organic. Let's count to 12 in Italian. World Cup '06 champs. Everybody knows C is for cookie, and that is good enough for me. For game time, we prepare a snack, and you should too. In 'What's your job?" we meet Louis, a farmer. Fast food is everywhere, even stuck in our heads, via our ears. Food joke please, don't choke. What is up with the B, food power we think.

It is time to GO SOLAR. You have seen the bumper-stickers, now it is time to discuss the benefits of the Sun. Knowledge is Power lets the sunshine shine. Try to say photovoltaic 5 times fast, that is our New Word. In our segment called I wish, we wish to see the sun. Then we count to 12 in Hindi. Next, Kai and I describe our solar install. In What is your Job, we talk to an Architect/Engineer. Game time finds us cooking with the sun. Fun. We always like to end with a Joke, or this time two. So kids look up, it is solar power.

Everybody knows a robot right? Knowledge is Power has been taken over by Robots. I don't personally own a robot. Do you? We can't wait until you can, we own you. Right? Kai and I try to figure out robots good or bad. An interview with Robot artist KAL sets you straight on humanity and fate. Too late to take sides. Ever wanted to count in binary, now you can. As programmed we will finish with a Robot Joke. Ha ha Reboot ha ha robot ha ha.

Enhanced Podcast KIP_03 We start out live from Tokyo, and show off some photos. Next we learn to count to 12 in Japanese. Our "New Word" is Mojibake. We take a trip to the wishing well. "Do you Wish?" We are always asking "What's your Job?" Kai talks to a designer about the weather. Game Time. We learn to build a curcuit in New York. We end the show with a couple of Star Wars jokes. Wow it's smart, well designed, and really cool. Oh, it must be from Japan.

Welcome Back to Knowledge is Power. Knowledge_is_Power_02 This edition is respectfully called black power. Fun for all ages. Do you remember the black panthers? What does the panther party have to do with hot sauce, tattoos and tanzania? Find out what the panthers are up to now. Next we stand together for a great america. We are always asking "What's your job?" Or something like that. A scientist has some of the answers here. Ever had a wish. "Do you wish?" Time for Fun. It is game time. Checkers anyone? Next we learn to count to 12 in Spanish. Who knew that a song about an acorn could sound so good. To round it all out we end on a JOKE. And remember Intelligent Design is not a collage major. No Joke.

Knowledge is Power 01

Welcome to Knowledge is Power. Knowledge_is_Power_01 We start out learning a new word. Fun for all ages. Every episode will include a segment titled "i wish." "Do you wish?" We next learn to count to 12 in Mandarin. After a musical break of twinkle twinkle in nihongo we proceed with "interesting stories." This time we discuss a recent trip to Hawaii where lots of bacon was had by all. We are always asking "What's your job?" Hear some of the answers here. And we can't forget "odd but true", not always news, but always notable. "3 is the magic mix" sets us up for "Game Time" in which we attempt sudoku. A little time with Perry mellows it out just before Song Time. We row row row our way through a dancing duet. To round it all out we end on a JOKE. Out with carlos montoya, what more could you want.
