B.M.D. is an awesome site and this is the greatest movie padcast! Unfortunately and to my detriment Phil & Evan, two of the coolest and funniest dudes, have stopped recording new episodes for unknown reasons. But you still have a blast listening to the old ones, they're funny as hell! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wish there were more great films! These guys won't waste your time and only talk about stuff that matters to them, no garbage episodes just to fill time. All that said, I would love more episodes because they keep that quality real good.

Devin Faraci is the worst and is finally getting some payback for his karmic douche baggery. Guy can't even hold a job now far be it a podcast. Good job Devin!!

The best thing about BMD podcast is how charmingly imperfect it is. The off the cuff banter is reflective and informed, but hilariously informal and sprinkled with a smorgasbord of random noises: background meows, blaring sirens, Phil falling out of his chair and gurgling of poured wine. It's two nerdish film buffs chatting about media, but also the weather, holiday plans, melatonin gummies and other assorted topics. What might be vapid and run of the mill by lesser talents, is actually very entertaining because Phil and Evan are dripping with chemistry, personality and joie de vivre. One of my favorite uniquely Evan metaphors is delivered matter of factly in his disarmingly affable vocal style while sizing up some cinematic choices in Captain America Civil War.: 'It's like where someone puts on a jacket that just went on the market and it doesn't quite fit, but they don't know it at the time.' followed by a pause from Phil as he constructs the mental image, followed by me falling out of my chair with laughter. It may lose something out of context;so just give it a try. It's a great podcast. Bonus for really catchy original theme song and outro.
