    Tom Odell talks about the importance of the Critics' Choice

    Last year Tom Odell won the BRITs Critics' Choice Award which kick started a phenomenal 2013 which has seen him travel the world and his debut album, 'Long Way Down' go to No. 1. We talked to him about the importance of winning this honour and following in the footsteps of Adele, Florence + the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J and Emeli Sandé and what the 2014 nominees should expect. To celebrate the ongoing successes of the Critics’ Choice Award, Universal Music will be releasing a Critics’ Choice compilation on the 6th of January featuring all the artists that have been shortlisted since launching in 2008, including the winners of each year. The iTunes exclusive version will also include bonus live and remix tracks.
