You had me at SNICK!
When I saw the episodes about SNICK and Care Bears 2, I knew these were the hosts for me. Fun subjects and easy to listen to. You’ll feel validated.
Poor Taste
Admittedly, I only listened to one episode: “Gummi Bears,” so this is in direct response to that. I was shockingly disappointed by how little intention was paid to the integrity of the narrative. I’d love to hear people’s thoughts about this show, but the hosts repeatedly did not remember or even know characters names. If you are going to critique something, do so with knowledge. So, maybe, like organize your notes before hand & come up with talking points you both remember. Overall, your criticism and praise of the show/pilot lacked integrity. Also, environmental storytelling is a thing. Audiences don’t need to be directly fed every piece of information to understand the story. I don’t think the concept of there are bears in the woods that people don’t see often to be that big of a jump.
Love it!
You guys are hilarious and I relate to your views on 90s pop culture super hard. Keep up the good work!
