No Deodorant In Outer Space (books turned into movies - Science Fiction, Fantasy and related genres)

I liked this Cast until the hosts began quarreling like lovers over the Burroughs Naked Lunch review. Made me feel nervous. Potential 5 star cast, but this brought it down a couple notches.

I couldn’t finish the first episode. I like the premise but Dave kills the whole show. Whenever the conversation starts to take a deeper turn he jumps in and yells over everyone saying everything is stupid. The personalities are just not balanced well.

Now that this show is in it's third episode, it's growing on me. It truly is an entertaining podcast. Audio isn't perfect though I do not feel this hurts the overall listening experience. "Wilk" is somewhat entertaining though is at his best when not degrading his co-hosts. Ryan is effective at keeping the show on a linear track and also offers up some great trivia. I'd like to hear more from "Beam". I look forward to the next episode.

Now that the show has gotten more focused in its fourth season, I’m really starting to enjoy the dynamics of the different guests and less annoying talk unrelated to the stories and films. The host is well researched so you really get to learn something you may not have known about the authors, directors and history around these stories. I like the choices of films and books as they aren’t the typical from the genre and there aren’t a lot of other podcasts out there that cover these choices. I look forward to hearing more and more from this team as they put out more body of work!
