I wanted to share something from a journalistic standpoint: I was taught that the interview should be about the subject, not the interviewer. That principle applies to audio too. Right now the effect on your voice is so distinct that it actually becomes a distraction and pulls focus away from the people sharing their important stories. I think the show would be more professional and impactful if your audio matched the beautiful clarity of your guests. It'll make you sound like an equal part of the of the conversation, not a separate, amplified element.

It’s been a while since I’ve listened but I’ve had a sudden nostalgia for it. I’m glad to be back. Each episode is precious, so raw.

It was such joy that you let an ex-liberal talk about his road to conservatism. I kept waiting for the story to take a turn. I’m just thankful it didn’t.
