The Story is Ludicrious manages to avoid the maddening “I’m the expert” stance most tv and film critic shows take, and I think the group dynamic makes that work. They’re funny and likable and not so opinionated that they don’t listen to each other. It could stand to have a bit more structure or perhaps a time limit on tangents, but overall I decent show.

This podcast provides excellent, knowledgeable insight on many aspects of movies, from technical and creative aspects of production to the broader cultural context in which they exist and inform. The jovial personalities of the hosts and casual format makes it a very engaging listen.
