I love that this podcast is an available resource for fans of Superman, and DC Comics in general! Host Russell Bragg does a great job of reviewing a comic book from the series DC Comics Presents, which debuted in 1978 celebrating 40 years of the man of steel. It ran 97 issues with 4 annuals, and features Superman teaming up with a gamut of characters from the DC universe. Russell gives a spotlight to the featured guest(s) in an episode, and employs some foley while he is reviewing the comic, which I really enjoy. Aside from the main coverage, Russell also has other segments that give great glimpses into his personality and fandom, like when he responds to feedback or gives a comic Bragg about something he recently acquired. The comic spinner rack is another segment that can make you nostalgic for the time period the comic was in. He gives great information and insights, and there is some fantastic humor, sometimes delivered with a dry wit. He has managed to finish his goal and covered every issue in the series (some times there may be a guest host(s) but he still produced the episodes and I’ve enjoyed them as well), and that is definitely something to Bragg about!
