    Can you really tame your tongue? In James 3:1–12, Pastor Jared Proctor challenges us to examine the power of our words and the condition of our hearts. Our tongues can be used to praise God or tear others down, revealing that the real problem isn't simply our speech, it’s our hearts. James points us beyond simply trying harder and toward our need for a new heart, self-control, and the transforming work of Christ. This message challenges us to confess sinful words, pursue repentance, and ask the Lord to help us use our speech to build others up.
