    Conspiracy - Shades of Blue

    Conspiracy - Shades of Blue

Three straight losses to close out the season. Colorado Rapids took first place. What the heck happened? We speculate wildly! But a main topic of discussion is none other than a blatant missed handball, which may very well have propelled Sporting KC to a first-round bye. We were treated to an epic Peter Vermes rant after the match, and every ounce of his frustration is deserved. But it's not all self loathing! The gang talks about the final three matches, a lack of creativity (and Johnny Russell), and the impact of a drop in form out of Khiry Shelton. Cody forgot to plug in his mic.

Good but inconsistent

I really enjoy listening to the shades of blue whenever it gets uploaded. It's biggest drawback is that it doesn't get recorded and released on a regular schedule

One of the only good SKC pods

Thad, Robert, and Cody all do a great job of balancing analysis, fandom, and #banter. It’s a must listen

Accurate but partial quality

I really like listening to this podcast. Everyone knows the game, and the banter is moves the show along well when necessary. But it’s so obnoxiously evident that no one “proof-listens” to the show before it’s posted. Sometimes the sound quality is great, but sometimes the mic levels are off, or the intro music carries on for too long and drowns out the dialogue. Basically, this podcast contains professional level content buried in amateur level production.
