Read through Luke 12: 13 34, what themes are presented regarding our attitudes to earthly possessions? The Treasure Principle

The Treasure Principle #1 - Olivia Waller This series invites us to consider our relationship with money and generosity - as our treasure reveals where our heart is. Everything we have is entrusted to us by God, and Jesus calls us to invest not simply in what we can see, spend or store up, but in what lasts for eternity. Discussion Questions Why does Jesus speaks about money so often? What does it mean thatour relationship with money cannot be separated from our discipleship? Read the stories of the Rich Young Ruler (Luke 18:18-23) and Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10). Both stories involve people who have significant possessions before their encounter with Jesus. Why were their responses so different? Ps Liv shared three practical ways we can grow in generosity as we live for eternity and faithfully manage what already belongs to God: Begin giving regularly. If giving a small amount, give 10% (tithe). If already tithing, consider increasing by 12% and/or giving offerings. Which of these challenges your personal experience with giving, and what might a practical next step look like for you?

Through the book of Acts, this series explores what it means to live on mission, empowered by the Holy Spirit to reflect Christ and make Him known wherever we go. Why do you think Luke was able to put aside his own agenda and be such a loyal companion to Paul? Read Acts 27: 13 44. In that situation, how would YOU have re-evaluated the decision to stay with Paul for the journey to Rome? Are you willing to be part of a team that plants churches to help reach the people of Frankston and Casey? If so, what can you add to the team? An Unknown God

Sent #5 - Olivia Waller. Jesus was sent to reveal the Father to the world, and now He sends us to do the same. Through the book of Acts, this series explores what it means to live on mission, empowered by the Holy Spirit to reflect Christ and make Him known wherever we go. Discussion Questions: We are halfway through Acts! Share how you are engaging with the YouVersion reading plan, and what Gods message is saying to you personally. Individualism, materialism, and productivity were briefly mentioned as modern 'cultural norms'. Can you think of any others in your generation? How do these present themselves as idols in our modern culture? Paul looked across Athens and saw many statues; amongst them an unknown God. In a potential 'moment of crisis', is God known or unknown to you?
