    HOUR 3 - Bryant McFadden, Steve Palazzolo, Debrief

    Former Steelers Super Bowl champ Bryant McFadden joined the show. BMac isn’t surprised this is what ended up of the Joey Porter Jr. saga because it’s become commonplace in Pittsburgh. He thinks Porter is probably happy for the change of scenery, even if it didn’t immediately result in a new deal. BMac said this is probably tough for players on the team to hear less than 24 hours before they play a divisional game, regardless of his status for the game itself. BMac said you can’t tell yourself Porter wasn’t the best cornerback on the team the last 2 seasons. BMac talked about his first start in the NFL and gave some advice for Daylen Everette, who is going to see a huge increase in his workload. Can the Steelers keep the good mojo going on their offense? BMac is thankful the Eagles jumped the Steelers in the draft because he thinks Max Iheanachor is a ballplayer. BMac expects the Steelers to win a Thursday night game in Cleveland for the first time ever. He can’t believe the Steelers are just 1-6-1 since 2018 in the Dawg Pound. BMac sees a 19-13 Steelers win. Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve said the Sunday win against the Bengals would absolutely be a game the Steelers would win under Mike Tomlin only to lose the Thursday night road game. Steve loved what he saw from the Steelers offensive line in the win – shouting out Max Iheanachor and Brock Hoffman as the big change up front. Jared Verse hasn’t been great yet with the Browns, but Mason Graham has turned a page and is still a very strong unit. Will Aaron Rodgers be able to find holes in the Browns defense? Steve acknowledged that the wins for the Browns haven’t come from Deshaun Watson, who he said was really bad in the game against the Panthers. Did the Steelers drop the ball with Joey Porter Jr. and what will the Cowboys get out of him? Steve likes adding draft picks, even if the 2nd round pick is in 2028.     Mike Tomlin is a Minecraft expert and showed off his world to all of us last night. We are… amazed. After the late-night trade of Joey Porter Jr., where do people stand on Omar Khan? It seems like the worm is turning there quite a bit. And it seems as if Jerry Jones is a little bit smarter than the national media tells us. Trai Essex pointed out that the organizations feel eerily similar. KDKA TV’s Bob Pompeani joined the show. Bob was dumbfounded by the Mike Tomlin Minecraft world that totally changed how he sees Tomlin’s future. Bob gave his take on the Joey Porter Jr. debacle that led to the trade to the Cowboys overnight. What does that say about Omar Khan and the job he has done so far? The Chase Claypool trade continues to be the crown jewel of Khan’s work. Can the Steelers buck the bad trend happening in Cleveland?     HOUR 1 - Steelers trade Porter, Who won the trade?, Nick Farabaugh

    It is over. The Steelers have traded Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys. The deal went down around midnight as we turn the calendars to October. Another deal with Jerry Jones and it looks like the old man got the Steelers again. Who is the big loser out of this? Chris thinks the Steelers definitely are, but so is Porter, because he didn’t get his contract from Dallas. It seems like the only party that looks like a winner are the Cowboys. Donny is tired of people acting as if every move the team makes is the right move – it ain’t the 1970’s anymore. Do fans think the Steelers won this deal with Dallas after sending Joey Porter Jr. to the Cowboys? Steelers insider Nick Farabaugh from Penn Live dot com joined the show. Nick said the Cowboys are the easy winner in the Joey Porter Jr. trade because it’s basically a no-risk move for them and they can actually recoup a 3rd round pick if Porter walks in free agency. Nick sees fault at both sides of this because the player didn’t handle this great, but the Steelers certainly fumbled the situation too. Nick believes there are a few very archaic motions the Steelers need to change going forward, like negotiating in-season. Nick pointed out a few good moves made by Omar Khan, but it’s hard to give him anything better than a mediocre grade as the team’s GM. Nick thinks the Steelers should absolutely be on upset alert tonight and why the game in Cleveland is suddenly turning into a house of horrors for them. Nick dug out a very deep stat in relation to Thursday Night Football. Is the Browns defense still pretty good without Myles Garrett? Nick thinks Max Iheanachor will struggle a little bit more in this game than what he did on Sunday.
