Patty & Emily are the funny, feminist Broadway super-fans the internet needs. Because their audience tends to skew very young, I appreciate that they set an example of grace and understanding.
They do not always perfectly agree with each other or with the choices made in the shows they see, but they critique in the service of upholding the art they love with such a passion, rather than tearing it apart for easy laughs.
I honestly hope there is a way Patty and Emily can monetize the brand they’ve worked so hard to create, quit their day jobs, and have the freedom to pursue their comedy and theatre content creation full time. If anyone deserves that kind of success,it is them. Fantastic work, ladies.
