Using Your Faith to Bring God's Power to Others

Have you ever wondered whether your faith can make a difference, not just in your own life, but in the lives of those around you? In the latest episode of Faith Tested by Fire, I explored how our faith can be a powerful tool to bring healing, restoration, and breakthrough to others, even when they are too weak or discouraged to believe for themselves. Here are three key takeaways from the episode: Your Faith Can Stand in the Gap: The story from Mark 2 shows that the faith of friends brought a paralyzed man to Jesus and resulted in his healing. The “prayer of faith” can save the sick; your belief can be the difference for someone else. Authority Is Given for Others’ Sake: Jesus gave His followers authority over sickness and darkness, not for self-promotion, but so we might minister to those unable to help themselves. Authority over sickness is only meaningful if it can be exercised on behalf of someone else. Settle God’s Will and Take Action: Before you begin to pray or believe for someone else, settle in your heart the will of God to heal and restore. Then act - call out the answer, stand firm in faith, and hold the line, even when circumstances challenge you. Let’s use the faith given to us not just for personal gain, but to lift up those around us. It’s not about formulas or striving; it’s about resting in God’s power, standing on His Word, and allowing His love and authority to flow through us. Who can you stand in faith for this week? Did Everything Change In 2020 (Except God's Promises)?

🌍 Did everything in our world change in 2020—except God's promises? I recently reflected on this question in the latest episode of the Faith Tested by Fire podcast. So much has shifted over the last few years, impacting our daily lives, relationships, and sense of security. But one thing remains immutable: the faithfulness of God and the certainty of His promises. Here are 3 key takeaways: Nothing surprises God. He saw the end from the beginning and made provision for every need you’ll face—even before you encountered it. Jim emphasizes that, regardless of how the world changes, God’s foresight and care remain constant. You’re already seated in a place of victory. We often feel we’re on the outside looking in, striving for acceptance or breakthrough. But in Christ, we’re already “seated in heavenly places.” Our prayers and faith come from a place of security, not struggle. Practical faith is about relationship, not formula. Whether you ask the Father, speak to your mountain, or give thanks in tough moments, what matters is the belief in your heart, not a scripted routine. Grow in confidence that you can approach God honestly, knowing He hears you.  For anyone who feels disconnected or weary, remember, God’s promises stand firm. Life, Death, and the Tongue: The Truth Behind Mark 11:23

I'm excited to announce some big updates from Faith Tested By Fire! Our new website is live at https://www.faithtestedbyfire.com , and my latest book “Believe You Receive It and You Shall Have It” is now available in paperback and Kindle. Plus, our new weekly newsletter “The Tested Word of Faith” is here to help you stay strong between “Amen” and the promised answer. On the latest episode of the Faith Tested By Fire podcast, I shared insights on the power of our words, inspired by Mark 11:23 and real-world testimonies. No matter what season you’re in, these truths can transform your faith walk and daily life. 3 Key Takeaways: Your words shape your world: What you persistently and consistently say has creative power. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Persistence matters: Sometimes, you must speak words of faith thousands of times before seeing a breakthrough, and that perseverance transforms you. Faith is built on relationship, not formula: Trust in God’s love and grace, keep your words aligned with His truth, and resist the temptation to “try” faith like a mechanical recipe. If you’re ready to see positive change in your life, check out the episode and join our newsletter for ongoing encouragement: 🔗 https://www.faithtestedbyfire.com  #FaithTestedByFire #WordofFaith #SpeakLife #Newsletter #BookLaunch #FaithInAction Subscribe to The Faith Tested By Fire Podcast on Soundwise
