#3 PREVIEW of upcoming podcast with John Edwards

Here is a little teaser of the interview with John Edwards, founder of Walking Free ministries, UK. John has overcome a life of homelessness, alcoholism and drug abuse and gone on to preach the gospel all over the world. Even though I have heard his story many times before, there were details he shared in this podcast that shocked me. John has such a passion to see people overcome addiction and hurt, and find Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. He is not only walking free himself but is helping others on the path to freedom too. The full podcast will be released soon, make sure you subscribe on iTunes to get the latest episodes. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/stop-rest-listen/id965274178 Thanks for listening. Joel

#2 'Bring Down Heaven' With Mark Stevens

In this episode of the SRL podcast we unpack the theme 'Bring Down Heaven' and what that looks like in our day to day lives. I have the honour of interviewing the legend that is Mark Stevens, former TV star in the Australian show 'Neighbours'. Mark went on to lead worship and write songs for Hillsongs Austraulia and Life Church, UK. Mark is not just a great singer and songwriter but a gifted worship leader and communicator. In this interview he shares his story as a child TV star and his decline into alcohol and drugs. He shares how he met Jesus and how every addiction was broken in an instant! Mark is a man of the Word and spends hours studying the Bible. He shares his insights on how he studies, prays and spends time with God despite a busy life.
