To Be The Church

So thankful for the helpful podcasts of to be the church. It helps me think through how I should pastor and shepherd

It's been a great way to get to know the church I have decided to become a part of. To get the full benefit you really have to think as you listen - you've got two pastors who share the most important beliefs, but then are willing to disagree and discuss, including changing one or both of their minds in later episodes. I only have one complaint. I've always been susceptible to earworms, and for a recent Lyrical Analysis segment, they played a catchy song with annoying lyrics. Now it is difficult to get out of my head. If you are a victim of earworms as well, you might skip episode 180. But seriously, as I've listened to this podcast, I've learned, I've changed my mind, I've had confirmation bias (God's love is NOT reckless), and everything in between. Now that I am caught up and listening to one episode a week, I look forward to submitting questions and thoughts for discussion.

Love listening to the podcast. The content is solid stuff with grounded theology & a bit of humor throw in for free. I’ve been a listener from the start...You might say I’m one of the “Mom’s” since I am of the age to be Tyler’s Mom & almost old enough to be Andrew’s (which is a crazy thought) but hopefully my review still counts 😉😂 Keep up the great work!

I have been a faithful listener since the beginning and am ecstatic to have new episodes to listen to. Tyler and Andrew compliment each other well and I enjoy hearing their two different Christian perspectives on topics and issues that wouldn't be part of a Sunday sermon. Highly recommended.
