80 of the 80s Music Podcast

I appreciate the research they do for the song/artist. It feels as if it's a "Pop Up Video"podcast. The retro commercials are great.

Very personable hosts -- their witty banter is the reason I love to listen! But they are also extremely knowledgeable about '80s music. The editing is superb, smoothly integrating song clips that underscore the reviews and discussion. I love the use of the period advertisements as well -- very funny stuff.

For anyone with even a casual interest in retro-pop music, this is an the entertaining listen. The hosts are very likeable. I appeciate how they incorporate song clips so I can actually hear a little of what they're talking about. I only wish they would put out new stuff more often, but I'd take quality over quantity. Thus, it's an essential "subscribe."

While I enjoy listening to these two banter, and revisiting the 80s is fun, they consistently mispronounce artists names, don't do any real research (Lene Lovich doing "Be Stiff", for example : that's a cover of a Devo song!), and seemingly trade hearsay for actual fact, reveling in smutty stories instead of achievements (see : George Michael) I'll keep listening, as overall I'm enjoying the show, but I can't go more than two stars.
