Auston Matthews 66 goals are the most in the NHL cap era
Jonas and James marvel at the scoring prowess of Auston Matthews and if the Maple Leafs should rest him in the final game if he hasn't reached the 70 goal mark?

Inconsistent Output
While Jonas and James are arguably the most well rounded Leaf analysts, offering a nice mixture of analytics and perspective, the frequency of the podcast has been spotty, sometimes going weeks without a new episode. I understand these guys are incredibly busy building and contributing to the Athletic, but if they cannot produce regularly, they should get some help, bring in guests, and not just do it as a tandem. Also, these guys need to figure out how to refine their production. Learn how to use skype. Ask Ian at the Leafs Geeks podcast for some pointers.
Very shallow knowledge
“I would take the guys who aren’t performing off the poweplay?”
“Who?”
Ummm. Can’t name a single guy and then goes onto another topic. I’m not even a Leafs fans, but these guys know nothing. Complete lack of depth.
Incredible coping from unbiased journalists
Hearing James “I don’t root for the Leafs” Mirtle refer to the Gentleman’s Sweep against the Panthers as a “hard-fought series” was chicken soup for the soul.
