For those about the rock, we salute you!

Hello, my name is Chris...and I'm a "rock n' roll junky". I've listened to Anthony and Al since 'cast #1 and they just seem to be getting better. They know what they love and it shows. With each conversation about the past, current and future rock/metal scenes, their passion for the subject matter is apparent. Take a listen for yourselves. You'll become a junky too.
**This review is in no way condoning the use of drugs despite the obvious parallels with the name of the podcast.**
The lawyers told me to add that.

Non copy righted?

I hate to do this, I've been listening to this show since #1 and I'm working my way through. I've just made it to #31 and I got to say I'm disappointed. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a rock and roll junkie myself by what I've gathered about this show is that they tend to talk about the same bands over and over and over. If you like reminicing about what you used to listen to back in the day, this is the show for you. What about new projects? What about new bands that are trying to keep this genre alive.
What drove the nail in the coffin for me was this particular podcast. The idea was that they were going to be talking about local bands and maybe playing some musice that wasn't copyrighted. Well, the end of the show that rolls around and they play a song entitled "Citys On Flame". I forgot the name of the band, sorry guys. However, I'm thinking; "Cool, a Blue Oyster Cult cover. Hearing the song, I was correct on the song but Blue Oyster Cult was never mentioned. Come to think of it, Blue Oyster Cult I don't think has ever been mentioned on the show. It's my opinion that just because our hosts are not fans, they are not going to give Buck Dharma and the boys credit for what they've contributed to the genre. Disappointed. I feel like they didn't do any research on it at all. How many other times have I been misinformed? I don't know. I will keep listening. Again, I love and share your passion for the music but let's get into it and maybe give credit where credit is due. Let's explore. By the way, the full title of the song was "Cities On Flame With Rock and Roll" and was released in 1972 off the debut Blue Oyster Cult album of the same name.
