Always Teaching

Scott Hahn is inspiring and a great teacher. I always learn something and wish that I could remember all that he says. He is one of my greatest teachers.

I Want to Like Dr. Hahn but…

Dr. Hahn is a first rate Catholic apologist and obviously a great teacher. I go back all the way to the beginning with him and his conversion story, which had major impact on my faith and my Catholic life. But… I’m weary of the constant onslaught of book sales in his every endeavor, including this podcast. In the face of all the scandal and controversy in the Church over the last decades, I’m simply losing interest in Dr. Hahn’s “products.” He is eerily silent on the faith-trying issues of an obviously Marxist Pope, and the scandal of toxic modernism taking over the faculty and student bodies at FUS. I’m sure he’s a good man, but I look to Catholic holiness and leadership, not o much non-stop book hucksters.

Inspiring me to study theology formally

I want to be Scott Hahn when I grow up... never mind I’m 40 and have a PhD from MIT. The knowledge, clarity of thought, enthusiasm, and depth of faith keep me coming back and only feeling disappointment when I find a new episode hasn’t arrived yet. Praying for you all the time Dr. Hahn.
