One of my favorite podcasts!

I listen to a lot of Disney podcasts and this is one of my favorites! I feel like you are friends talking and give your honest opinion! Keep up the great work!

Sarcastic Negativity

You both constantly make negative/sarcastic comments I.e. “tragic kingdom” and always criticize things that others may like I.e. “Kylo REN character experience is a guy dressed up as a guy, talking through a radio”. Both examples are from one episode. If you want to be negative, podcast about politics instead.

Room to Improve

I've listened to a lot of this podcast because they're good aggregators of all things related to Disney parks. Tony and John really are passionate about Disney parks, have great knowledge and stay on top of the latest information well. I've listened for about a year, so my critiques come from a place of wanting them to give a better product - I have many friends that are Disney parks addicts, but I can't bring myself to recommend the podcast to them.

There's way too many episodes. 4 episodes in a 7 day period may be fine for 7-10 minute brief podcasts, but these are averaging 35-40 minute episodes. I'd rather one long episode a week, because half the episode is repeating the intros and outros, the advertisements, reminders to listen on your Amazon Echo, and the announcements of upcoming meet ups. That's a lot to repeat 2-4 times a week. I try to just skip all of that and get to content, but it's cumbersome. And when the episode is just running down the menu change to a restaurant, item by item, it's not worth it. I would rather that info be rolled into the next week's episode when there's more news to talk about. I think they know this at times, because with some of these less-interesting items , they do a lot of weird inflections with their voices, which gets tiresome.

Audio quality on the interviews is not good at all. Most podcasts calling into someone else are either crystal clear or clearly over a phone, and this is somehow neither. Not sure how they do it, but I've had to turn off some interviews because its just hard to listen to. It's too bad because they get great guests.

And it's not a ton of this, but any words coming close to politics should be avoided at all costs. Words like "Trump," "Hilary," and anything to do with gender and race should just be out of bounds for them. (The word "Hilary" shouldn't even need to be said even in passing in 2019.) They've said these things in passing and tipped their personal beliefs, accidentally or not, and it wasn't flattering. My wife, a Disney fanatic, asked me to not listen to this with her in the car anymore as they managed to tick her off in this area.

I'm sticking it out a bit longer because this is good content from two good guys doing thankless work. It's just still a few steps away from being a great professional production, and I don’t know if I can keep listening at the rate they put out episodes.
