How to Be a Girl
How to Be a Girl is an audio podcast I produce about life with my six-year-old transgender daughter. It stars the two of us -- a single mom and a six-year-old "girl with a penis" -- as we attempt together to sort out just what it means to be a girl.
This is really good

I’m a trans girl and it’s crazy to me that they are outlawing us. Your story is so real and eye opening! I almost cried a few times in various episodes Keep on being amazing :3

I would absolutely love to come on this show and chat about why I think what is happening here is terrible. That’s obviously not going to happen, but I just want to cry listening to this. It’s crazy to me that these people think that acceptance is changing your entire body. But you can’t accept what you already have? People can’t even get tattoos until they’re eighteen (mostly), but we’re letting them sterilize themselves? You had a beautiful son, but you couldn’t accept him. Most kids grow out of the gender dysphoria. I don’t hate trans people at all, but I don’t think this should happen to kids. Imagine when she’s an adult and if she realizes ‘hey I realize now I WAS a boy. A feminine one maybe but still of a boy’. What if he regrets this decision. I have a ton more things to say, but that’s not going to change anything and I can’t spend my day typing a review. I’m so sorry about what happened to your son. I know I’ll be labeled as transphobic but I know that’s not true. Bye -Bee

I truly love your podcasts and really hope you continue. I have an 8 year old daughter, who knows she was a girl since a long as she could speak. Your podcasts are so relatable to our lives as well as current events. We also might have to leave our state due to anti trans medical care. Like I said please continue even if your lovely daughter isn’t in them.
I am praying for you.
