I found this podcast looking for something that talked about Disney more than just the parks. I started this a while back and burned myself out but recently wanted to rewatch all the official Disney animated films in order. So I’m eager to dive deeper into this magical world with this amazing duo.
I think Steve discovering that he was always a closeted Disney lover is so beautiful. Theresa is delightful and really knows her stuff about all things Disney. I love the structure of the show, even though I’m listening many years later and most of the new is way out of date, it’s still enjoyable.
My only critic would be that, I’m a Disney fan but not a massive Star Wars fan (though with my husband that has changed a bit) so I feel like at times there’s a bit of chatter about Star Wars and I gloss over.
As a note to Theresa and Steve:
I grew up loving everything Disney. It was a struggle for anyone in the house to watch anything other than the Disney channel, as long as I had control of the TV. However, as I've gotten older, I've slowly lost the magic of Disney. Very quickly, Theresa and Steve re-spark that magic and make me feel like the kid I once was. The story of Peter Pan has always been my favorite story (not movie, but story) because I think it is important to hold onto some of that child like wonder and innocence. Disney does that, and it should be an important part in everyone's lives. Thank you!
