Clark wants to prove wrong the skeptics who say that there is no good left in the world. She has ambitiously taken on the mission of making the world a better place through random acts of kindness, with the hope of putting a smile on a stranger’s face. Today, Leigh shares how she began Kindleigh, an organization that spearhead numerous “random acts of kindness” initiatives throughout the country. I recently chatted with Stacie Thompson of Ninth Wave Motivation on her ideas on how to achieve goals in the New Year. Stacie is super passionate about helping women achieve massive goals through collaboration and camaraderie. Stacie once felt overwhelmed by the demands of life and struggled with “finding her tribe”. This led Stacie to forming a community called, Ninth Wave Motivation (the name stems from her Malibu roots, the allure of water and the thrill of surfing). Her group of “Surfer Sisters” in Ninth Wave has been around since 2007 and she is getting ready to embark on a new wave of programs for women who are open to exploring new adventure for themselves and want to soar to new heights in their career, health/fitness, relationships, and confidence. Influence. Authority. Expert-Status. If you’re in business, you probably strive to embody these words. Sadly, many entrepreneurs get lost in the crowd. They lose sight of what’s important in the growth of their company. Today, I reveal my top five ways to build “influence” in your industry and community! I gained momentum but being out in my local community, practicing the five elements of building a strong circle of influence, that I am sharing with you today. Do you ever wish you had a magic wand to get rid of the stuff on your to-do lists, that you simply don’t want to do?  The tasks that take you too much time or you don’t like to do can be the death of your energy, right?  Doing everything yourself will end up costing you so much more money and time because you are only focused on the tasks, not the activities that really mean anything to you. When I first started my business, I was doing EVERYTHING in my business. I was in hyper-growth mode and was super motivated to make a huge impact in my industry. But, I learned pretty quickly that all the tasks “stuff” was taking me away from the thing that I was the best at, coaching my clients to get to the next level of their business. That meant, if I wanted to spend more time coaching and consulting (i.e. be more profitable), I had to come up with a plan to delegate the stuff that wasn’t fueling me…or my piggy bank. Sure, I am capable of doing some of the operational tasks, but I am not the most efficient at them. Quite frankly, bookkeeping overwhelms me... it sends me back to my college accounting class (a period in my life I would rather not talk about). What was my plan, you ask? Well, it was a bit of a process… Fortunately for you, I share the first step in the process in this short audio file...and you will want to grab a pen and paper.
