    How an Empty Aircraft Shell Becomes a Flying Palace

    In this special episode of Own The Jet, Derik Savage and Jason Spoor tour Comlux America in Indianapolis with the CEO, Adam White, and the Vice President of Sales, Ben Williamson, to explore one of aviation's best-kept secrets: the industry responsible for transforming commercial aircraft into custom VVIP private jets. The tour moves from the design studio, where owners pick carpet, veneer, and stone and every custom material has to pass burn testing, to the cabinet shop, where craftsmen build each monument by hand. Then it's the full-scale A220 and A320 cabin mockups, exact replicas that let every panel gap get checked to the millimeter before the aircraft ever arrives. It ends on the hangar floor with a finished jet in certification testing.
