What the heck is trauma and are we all walking around like trauma zombies?

Welcome to Episode 10 of Somatic Compass. Stacey and Trevor explore what the heck is trauma, trauma resolution and whether we are walking around like trauma zombies from a somatic perspective.   Do you have trauma?  Have you experienced stress or toxic stress?  What is the difference?  Have you heard about little 't' trauma versus big 'T' trauma?  Or are you upset about AI data centres too?  Jump into this conversation with them as they explore all these questions.  As always, the conversation is not about getting it right. It is an invitation to gently explore the wisdom and presence of your body, deepen your somatic literacy and become a little more curious about what your physiology may already be communicating.   We love to hear feedback and if you like this episode please like, review, and spread the word.  If you have questions or comments, please email Stacey at info@mindfulsomaticwellness.com. I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost. I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out. II. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I still don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place. It isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out. III. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it there, I still fall in. It's habit. It's my fault. I know where I am. I get out immediately. IV. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. V. I walk down a different street. © 1977 Portia Nelson, There’s a Hole in My Sidewalk: The Romance of Self-Discovery
