She holds a B.S. in plant and soil science from the University of Vermont and an M.A in Appalachian Studies and Sustainability from Appalachian State University. She lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she resides in a small community and teaches foraging, along with Appalachian folk medicine and crafts. She specializes in historical Appalachian ethnobotany and Appalachian folk medicine. As a holistic educator, speaker, herbalist, ceremonialist, spiritual light coach, intuitive energetic & reiki practitioner, diviner, storyteller, artist, and world traveler, Lucretia has accumulated over 3000 hours of training. She has studied with indigenous healers and some of the greatest minds of our time.
