I’m pretty sure that if I were living in SF I’d be friends with both Sam and Shaan. With that being said don’t expect a bad review coming from me.
Things I love in this pod:
1. Each episode has an a amazing stream of ideas discussed with great energy from both parties and you can tell that neither has an hidden agenda;
2. The ideas are discussed as business should be without romanticizing around metrics, and/or the sexiness of an idea and/or amount of money raised;
3. Both are extremely well connected - great guests - and you can tell that they complement each other in a way that each thinks and addresses different dimensions of an idea/business.
Things I’d improve if I were involved:
1. Atm, the content is extremely focused on what is happening in the U.S. - which is absolutely understandable - but there is cool stuff happening in Europe as well;
2. A paid tier for people that are willing to pay to access exclusive analysis, discussions, curated content and mentors/potential partners;
3. The name🤣 by the time I wrote this review the podcast is called My First Million - I know they are in the process of changing it. The name doesn’t represent the broad spectrum of content shared. It is a lot more than just reaching “my first million”. Also, and I know this is cultural, but for an European, the name sounds cheesy as hell.
I absolutely recommend this podcast to everyone involved/intends to be involved in the business scene.
