Feds Blow the Lid Off NBA Betting — Plus Bomb Squad Secrets & Dodgers Talk

Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 2 (7.2)   Loaded show today. We're joined by former LASD Bomb Squad's Johnny Hanson to break down the massive federal crackdown rocking the NBA — prosecutors have unsealed indictments in an overlapping game-fixing and illegal betting scheme involving active players, former players like Malik Beasley and Ed Davis, an agent, a head coach, and organized crime. The feds are calling it the sports world's version of an insider trading saga.  Johnny sticks around to talk cheating across ALL sports — from the billions flowing through World Cup soccer betting to how the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL stack up on handle, spreads, and player props. It's a wild look at just how much money is really on the line.  Then we lighten it up: why Petros Papadakis of 'Petros & Money' makes P sick, the Foosh's birthday, the legendary 'Green Ghost' Steve Garvey cruise story, P's best Vic the Brick impression, and a Kahlúa nightcap with Kathie Lee. We close with Petros on the Dodgers' winning formula and why Dave Roberts keeps this team firing on all cylinders. 🍸⚾  Press play. 🎧      NBA betting scandal, game fixing, Malik Beasley, Ed Davis, sports betting, federal indictment, Johnny Hanson, bomb squad, LASD, World Cup betting, sports gambling, Petros and Money, KLAC, AM 570, Dodgers, Dave Roberts, sports talk, true crime, Los Angeles, daily podcast, current events  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Old P's Fireworks Empire, Tim Conway Jr. Named Grand Marshal & Foosh's Birthday

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 3 (7.2)  Big holiday-week show! More with the Old P — including his grandfather's fireworks-packed warehouse and how San Pedro measures 4th of July mortars by pure chaos. Plus the World Cup madness that swept Southern California after Mexico's 2-0 win over Ecuador, a little Taylor Swift grid talk, and a deep dive into everything from LeBron and the Lakers to Charles Laughton's legendary turn as Quasimodo and some serious '80s sitcom nostalgia.  Then the big one: Conway reads the news that HE'S been named the 2026 Grand Marshal of the 122nd Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade — leading Surf City USA's America 250 celebration! Get ready for laughs, energy, and maybe a few "Ding Dong!" moments along the route. We also get into The Rock stepping back from political endorsements, and Petros' unforgettable Coliseum hot dog incident.  And of course — it's the Foosh's birthday! 🎂 Conway wrote him a song, a million people are expected at the parade, and a couple of rogue mosquitoes crash the studio. We close with a wild minibike pursuit through South Gate and East L.A. Happy 4th! 🎇  Press play. 🎧    Tim Conway Jr, Huntington Beach parade, Grand Marshal, July 4th, fireworks, World Cup, Mexico soccer, KFI AM 640, Petros and Money, Dwayne Johnson, The Rock, LeBron Lakers, Foosh birthday, police pursuit, East LA, Southern California, radio, comedy, sports talk, current events, America 250  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Killer Heat, a Creepy Camera Scandal & Petros Papadakis Gets ROASTED

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 4 (7.2)  Big show today. We kick off with Dodgers vs. Padres and the wild reason getting around L.A. is still a nightmare — an unfinished 1947 freeway master plan that left the city stranded while San Diego cruised ahead (plus a shoutout to Mike Daddino for the most outrageous sports takes on YouTube).  Then we head East, where a life-threatening heat dome is trapping more than 260 million people under triple-digit heat along the I-95 corridor — NYC could hit 100° for the first time in 14 years, just in time for July 4th. We also dig into the disturbing California State Parks scandal, where a former superintendent allegedly hid cameras in USB drives to secretly record 23+ lifeguards undressing at Bolsa Chica State Beach — and now the lawsuits are flying.  And we close it out with the good stuff: why Petros Papadakis of 'Petros & Money' makes P sick, the Foosh's birthday, the legendary 'Green Ghost' Steve Garvey cruise story, P's best Vic the Brick impression, and a Kahlúa nightcap with a little Kathie Lee. 🍸  Press play. 🎧    Dodgers, Padres, LA traffic, freeway history, heat dome, heat wave, NYC heat, July 4th, East Coast weather, Bolsa Chica, California news, Orange County, hidden camera scandal, true crime, Petros and Money, KLAC, AM 570, Steve Garvey, sports talk, Los Angeles, Conway, daily news podcast, current events  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
